@kalodighi

I just made my Right of Permanent Residence fees (landing fees) payment.

In the receipt did you have to fill out any part my hand and then sign and then scan and upload the receipt ? One of my friend told me that a part in the receipt needs to filled out my hand.

In my receipt , there is no part to fill out. Should I just upload the doc as it is.

How did you do it ? It would be very helpful, if you share you process. Thanks ! :)

My timeline -

ITA received - Nov. 13th 2015
Application sent - Dec 23 2015
Additional Docs request - Dec. 30th 2015
RPRF (Landing fees request ) - January 27th 2016

Good luck to you ! Hope you will get your PR sooner than later . :)

Pls keep in your prayers .

Thanks

Hi guys...

I am wondering about couple of things.. let me put them one by one..

1. Does anyone know actually how long it takes to renew a passport from Bangladesh High Commission in Canada? and how is there service? Do they return the passport in time? I am thinking about urgent service.

2. When CIC ask for Passport once they approve PR application, how long do they normally give to send them the passport? One week? two weeks? one month? how long?

3. We applied for PR on November 4th 2015. Still waiting for their response. And our Passport will be expire on September 4th 2016. Very confused what should we do..

Can anyone help me with that please?

Thanks

Hey Folks!

So I decided to open up this thread so that all Bangladeshi applicant / people from Bangladeshi background can connect and share our EE experience.

I know that there's a large Bangladeshi presecec in this forum and they are very active in the FSW subforum, but haven't come across any thread dedicated to Bangladeshi applicants in this EE section.

So let's connect in this thread and share our knowledge and experience in regards to the new EE pool. I'm sure we can all benefit from our interactions.

Cheers! And best of luck to everyone!!

You have to go to this link.. and go as the instruction says..

https://eservices.cic.gc.ca/epay/welcome.do

pay your fee and download the payment receipt and upload it to your profile..

I believe thats the process...

Complete your profile and upload all necessary documents. After that you will have to digitally sign your application and the payment option will appear. You can pay with VISA credit/debit card, Master card etc. You don't have to go to any other places to make the payment. system will automatically calculate the amount for you. Hope it helps. Thanks.

1. According to their website, it takes 3-5 weeks for MRP passport renewal if you go for urgent processing. I did not go for a passport renew but my experience with Drivers license verification was terrible. Most likely it will take more time than they mention. Awful customer service.

2. CIC will give you 30 days to submit the passport.

3. Did you apply through FSW? or CEC? remember one thing, when CIC ask for passport, it has to be valid for next 6 months from the day of Passport request. That means if CIC asks for your passport after 4th March, you passport will have validity of a less than 6 months.

If you think (visit the status of other applicants who applied in November) you may get the passport request before March, you can wait. Otherwise go for a renewal. Best of luck.

Don't be so frustrated. When I had issues with my driver's license, I sent an email to first secretary "Ms. Aparna Rani Paul" and she was super nice and really helpful. You can try sending her an email explaining your situation and see if you can find a way to get it done quickly.

Hello Everyone,

Lately CIC has become very strict on PCC and there have been a lot of posts from Indian and Pakistani applicants about rejection due to "time bound" and "geography bound" PCCs. As you all know, BD PCC is issued by local police stations which also mention a specific address of the applicant. So are you submitting PCCs from all places in Bangladesh you've resided in Bangladesh in past 10 years or just one?

In my case, I have stayed in 2 different locations in Dhaka in past 10 years. My permanent address is also in Dhaka city although I am not residing there for past 15 years. I have got the PCC issued by the police station in my permanent address and I can get a second one for my present address as well. However, for the address I stayed just prior to my current one, I don't think I can get any PCC because that address is not mentioned in my passport any more! What should be the solution? Should I just submit the PCC for my permanent address and when filling up the e-apr, state that I stayed in this address for past 10 years? (As this is shown in my passport)

Looking forward to your experienced advice. Thanks in advance.

In case of Bangladesh, we need to submit only one either for Permanent address or present address. I've submitted for my present address which is in Dhaka. I got my GCMS notes and it is written that PCC is OK.
