I had to wait 2.5 months for the ECAS status to change to Decision Made but still waiting for further info.

Apply for revaluation. Do note that revaluation costs 50% of test fee and that is refunded only if the scores change. The scores will either move upward or remain unchanged. It takes 4-6 weeks for revaluation results but check this with your local test centre as well.

I am shamim, from Lagos, Nigeria, Bangladeshi, working here as IT consultant in a French company's Nigeria project. Recently I got nomination from Saskatchewan and I am expecting to get ITA by first week of october. In the mean time, I am trying to prepare my documents to apply for PR. I need some advise and suggestions from you. I would be very grateful to you if you can help me. If you don't mind, pls give me your email address and contact number.
1. Do we need photographs to submit application online?
2. Last time during the submission of SINP application, I have attested my all documents by Bangladesh embassy in Libya, consular of the embassy on July 03, 2015. Can I send those documents? Or should I attest the docs again by embassy or should I do notary by lawyer?
3. Will the bank statements of July 01, 2015(3 months earlier) be acceptable or not? Or Should I send the recent statement?
4. When should we do the medical exams? Shall we take appointment before I will submit the apps?
5. Will we need any extra documents except the supporting document for SINP?
6. We have police clearance certificates from Bangladesh on July 03, 2015. I think it will be alright. We have also PCC from Nigeria, but that certificates validity only 3 months that means it will expire on the first week of October. Pls advise me if we should collect the most recent police clearance certificates.

I will need more advices from you. Please help me. Many thanks for your kind cooperation and your valuable times.

Hello,

Does anyone know if Darul Ihsan Uni degree is recognized by WES? I did MBA from Darul Ihsan in 2007-8. Now I hear many private universities are not recognized by WES. Don't know if it applies to Darul Ihsan.

Can anyone enlighten me on this matter, please? Another question, Is CELTA recognised as a post grad certificate in Canada. I did it after my Masters from Bangladesh. Would I get any point for CELTA? I need 119 points in education.

It's late response maybe. On July 2015 I tried to do ECA by WES for my wife who has completed BBA and MBA from Darul Ihsan university. When I was filling the online form and I selected the institute, I got a message that WES doesn't assess any certificates from Darul Ihsan University. Thanks.

Saskatchewan PNP program is not closed. They have three streams of their program.
They are:
1. International Skilled Worker - Employment Offer Sub-Category
2. International Skilled Worker – Occupations In-Demand Sub-Category
3. International Skilled Worker – Express Entry Sub-Category

but the intake threshold for International Skilled Worker – Occupations In-Demand Sub-Category and Saskatchewan Express Entry Sub-Category have been reached for 2015. Only International Skilled Worker - Employment Offer Sub-Category is open now.

2.I am not what documents you attached by Bangladesh embassy, for myself I never attached any documents during PR application. Ask other experts about that.
3.You need 6 months bank statements from 2/3 days before to 6 months you submitting your application, which means most resent statement.
4. You have to do medical after ITA received which call upfront medical. The medical report will go to CIC office directly without submitting you application.
5. Documents you will find your MY CIC after receive ITA.
6. Your police certificate is good for 3 months from the day issued .

Retaking IELTS might be an option to improve the overall score. Transferable skill +3 years and anything over 3 years do not really matter. I do not see any other way.

IELTS won't carry me that far, It's 450 required now (last intake 2nd October)

Hi guys,

I've been on this forum quite a bit lately and have been finding some very helpful information. Currently my score is at 443, and I'm planning to re-take the English exam on the 17th and hopefully get a better score.

My question is: has anyone over here got an invitation and applied with the hand written passport instead of the machine readable one? My passport is valid till 2018 and I just wanted to know if CIC is still accepting the hand written passports as being valid.
