In Singapore visa office, for application received between November 28, 2008 and June 25, 2010 it take 14 months to complete the process! My question is from when this 14 months are to be counted - the time when the CIO forwarding the initial application to VO or from the time when the full documents are submitted to the VO by the applicant? Could anyone pls answer?

thanks

From the date your applications received by CIC. But the reality is that applicants have been waiting for along and nobody really knows when can they actually proceed all those pending applications.

Good luck!!

I can use the new form , but I need some papers to proof my relative in CANADA ( If new form ) , otherwise just passport photocopy is ok for proccessing ( Old form ) , Question is time frame , you know NOC 1122 CAP reach may be within next 15days , So If I use new form then will not reach CAP .

Thanks again
Attention Himel bhai,

If you claim points from your relative, you must provide sufficient supporting documents no matter what form (old or new) you use.
According to old forms applicants of Singapore visa office must provide following docs:

•Proof of relationship to your close relative in Canada, such as birth, marriage or adoption certificates.
•If your close relative is a permanent resident of Canada: photocopy of his or her Record of Landing (IMM 1000), Confirmation of Permanent Residence or Permanent Resident Card.
•If your close relative is a Canadian citizen: proof of Canadian citizenship, such as a photocopy of pages of a Canadian passport or Canadian citizenship card.
Please note that, many post-june SGVO applicants got rejected by CIO though they provided abovementioned docs. CIO pointed out that to claim points from relatives applicants must provide sufficient docs to prove relative's residency in Canada.

Proof of residency: Provide evidence your listed relative physically resides in Canada. This may include copies of(any 2)
• lease agreements,
• An employer's letter confirming employment,
• Monthly bills, etc., (one page of each bill is sufficient),
• Bank statements.
Note: The evidence should show the relative's name and full address in Canada and must be less than six (6) months old from the date of your application submission.

Himel bhai, I understand that you are trying to hurry up to make into the cap but without sufficient docs you will just get refused.

Dr.Hasib

Contact with your VO informing with your current and previous addresses. If it is in the case specific inquiry, put there or else just write an email.

I have a question regarding this Hasib bhai. Does Singapore VO required proof of residency in the old version of the form? I have not sent any proof of residency in my forms as I have not found anything related to this in the visa office specific check list.

No, SGVO's old version form doesn't require that...but unfortunately CIO issued NER to many applicants for not providing those..SInce you already got PER, you are lucky.

You can order a bank draft through SCB, if you dont have any account. but they will charge a bit higher then account holder.... if its not support, then plz open an e-savers account with SCB,
