Thank you...
Hi
I am from IT background. My choice is Computer Science. I do not have much idea about your sector (accounting or MBA). But at least I can say we that, we should go for study to achieve a Canadian Credential to get a better job.

Thanks....

There is a huge difference between a Diploma and an MBA.

1) Both are 2-year program. The first is an undergrad level program done in College and the latter is a Masters level program done in a University.
2) In a top business school, an MBA would cost you 70K-100K, 30K-50K in a mid-range school and 10K-25K for the rest. There are some good MBA schools in Quebec which costs very low as you may know Quebec has very low tuition fees. On the other hand, a college degree (undergrad or post-grad level) in Business would cost you 10K-15K all around the country.
3) It's extremely hard to get into the top MBA schools.
4) Obviously, an MBA would be valued more for employment. In a business environment, it's sometimes unofficially a requirement to get a good job or to advance where you work.

I have a technical background with bachelor's (uWindsor) and master's (uWaterloo) in Electrical Engineering.

- If you're already in Canada and didn't have much success in finding a decent job here; you should look into higher studies.
- If you haven't come here yet, you can do both. Get admission to a good school for MBA or similar (it takes time as for some reputed schools, you need to apply a year before). Meanwhile you can search for jobs.

I would ask everyone here to read my post re: Co-op Program. Although it was prepared from technical perspective, it will help you understand some important aspects of Canadian job market. There are some sample resume links as well (all my own).
