Hi all,
Planning to travel to CA during the third week of March.

Anyone else planning to travel during that time? Happy to get in touch with you.

Those who already made the journey, can you suggest a travel agent/s to buy Air tickets from?

Can anyone share their first hand experience to travel to CA?
What sort of questions you get asked at the immigration?
Is there any liabilities to take specific amount of money (CAD)?

Thanks in advance,

Is your visa expires on this March? You should keep some buffer time between visa expire date and landing. This is because of weather issues and unforeseen events.Good luck.

Dear Rumel bhai,

I have a also discussed my own case in this thread just two days ago. I did my medical at SOS international clinic in Beijing, China. The doctor found slight pulmonary tissue change in the X-ray report. I talked with Doctor and she informed me its nothing seroius and did not ask me for further test. They have uploaded the report and x-ray film on that day. However she informed me that from our side its okay, but now it fully depends on CIC panel physician. It has been 4 days since I completed my medical exam. How many days later I may receive information (either in the E-cas or mail) whether I am passed or not.

Thanks and regards,

Eusufzai

Actually, it completely depends on local physician. If they give clear report then the physician panel of CIC will pass it. There is no doubt about it.
As they said, there is no problem in their side then wait at least 10 more days. It takes 2 weeks to update in ECAS.

Best of luck

Hi all experts/experienced guys!
Alhamdulillah, I submitted re-medical on 2nd Feb'16 again. But it has not been updated on ECAS yet. Now a days how much time it does take? How much time it may require to get PPR.

I did the 1st med in Jul'14.

Thanks

Hello Uttara11,

Salam. I am also a Bangladeshi citizen. By the way, I am just curious to know under what medical condition CIC asked you to do re-medical. When you first did you medical, how long it took to update your medical status. I am also anxiously waiting for my medical results as I have little problem with X-ray report.

Thanks and regards,

Eusufzai

Hi Eusufzai,
My 1st medical was updated within 5-6 days of submission. It was done in July 2014 and expired by this time. SGVO has not issued PPR for me till now. So now it has issued advice for re-medical and I did it.

I contacted to the doctor's office, got information that report is normal & forwarded to SVO on the next day.

regards

You have to declare it at POE.

He is basically asking "HOW" means which way he can carry the fund. I am also having the same question. Do you know any specific way?

Thanks in adv.

Endorse it from a bank, and carry in cash. There's no other way.

You can carry the required cash or part of the required total cash with statement of account showing fund available.

Hope this helps.
