Can anyone predict why SGVO is silent for the last few months with a huge number of pending applications (except some random case)?

Canadian National Election on 19 Oct may be one of the cause

Dear Forum Members,
I need your help regarding dollar endorsement from Bangladesh. According to Bangladesh Bank travel quota for all Bangladeshi nationals who travel overseas, For SAARC countries we can endorse up to 5000 dollars and for Non-SAARC countries endorse up to 7000 dollars; the cash allowance per trip is up to 3000 dollars!

I need to submit proof of fund to an immigration officer after landing in Canada. For single person, I need to carry minimum $11,931(CAD).

Can you guys please advice me how can I bring this amount in cash from Bangladesh to Canada?

Is there any chance of mental harassment in Dhaka airport during immigration passing if I told customs that i am carrying 12000 (CAD) with me based on their question?

If I tell lie to customs that I am carrying only 3000 CAD, will customs check my pocket to verify it?

Please give your advice.
to the best of my knowledge, you can carry 7000 us$ at a time in a year. same way, you can carry CAD equivalent to 7K us$. but rest amount you need to carry on your own risk. if you feel hesitate, just carry the lawful amount of money. i mean suppose 9500 CAD equivalent to 7K us$, so you can carry CAD9500 with you and immigration do not deport you for this less amount. you can contact with central bank for special support for immigration.

Thanks all of you for your valuable advice. The reasons behind delaying my arrival was bad freezing weather in east costal region of canada, and most of the canadian employers hold their new recruitment in november, december and january.

due to bad weather you need extra time. so schedule your flight with reasonable time. sooner is better, always.

Have no idea about that. I just check the status through cic website application status page.

If I land Toronto Pearson International airport first, then land at Halifax Stanfield International Airport.

In which airport immigration will processed my landing formality(signing on corp forms, taking Canadian address, proof of fund verification )?

Will it be done in Halifax airport or Toronto airport?

Experts please suggest.

My friend, your immigration formalities will be done in Toronto. Also, Toronto will be your initial port of entry despite of you have connecting flight.

Expats correct me if I am wrong.

I also hear same from others, just want to verify through this forum. Will layover 1 hour and 30 minutes for next flight enough time to process immigration formalities at Toronto airport or I need 3 hours layover between the flights ?
