Dear Friends,

Sharing good news. I am PNP(SINP) applicant from Bangladesh. Today I received passport request from Manila visa office. They requested to submit my passport to Singapore visa office within 30 days.
I completed my medical on May 14, 2015. In PPR letter, they mentioned that my visa will be valid for initial entry until May 16, 2016.
Thanks.

Congrats Bro.
+1 for your good news.

Dear Shamrajjo,

Congrats for your PPR and thanks for your information.

Regards,
Myat

Hi Bro,

The PR is valid from the date of your medicals to one year (if your passport is valid for more than a year). If you have 5 months left on your passport then they will issue the visa for 5 months.

All visas will follow the PA's medicals.
The COPR will show the validity of the medicals BTW.

Best of luck,

Shamrajjo Bhai,

Can you suggest which flight would be cheaper to fly to Winnipeg, Manitoba and also if i go via USA?

Hello Bangladesh brothers/sisters. Anyone of you who are May/June 2014 applicants and still have not received PPR ?

Hi Bro,

Well, there is no flight directly from Middle east or South Asia to Winnipeg. So you need to choose flight to Toronto via any middle east flights such as Emirate, Etihad, Turkish etc or you can choose Dragon Air/Cathey pacific.

If you choose USA at NY/Toronto it would be better to choose Middle east flight with cooperative price and less travel time.

But if you want to go USA at LA then you can choose Malaysia, Dragon Air etc i.e. via eastern route flight from BD would be your less travel time with competitive price.

Then need to choose domestic flight from Toronto to Winnipeg. Or from NY/LA to Winnipeg.

My recommendation would be to go via Toronto to finish your landing formalities and take domestic flight to Winnipeg by competitive price and less travel time. If you choose more time in your travel, you will feel too much tired inflight.

Hope it may give you an idea and decision is yours that what would be your convenient. And these info from my personal assessment and idea only.

Best of luck.

Hey guys,

Under CRS I should get a good number (CLB 9, Age 28, W/E 3 years, Masters - UK, ECA done, Married, wife IELTS 7...)

looks like I should get a request soon... but here's my question - do you reckon I should use an agent here? Is there any specific need?

EDIT: I forgot to mention about my 6 month old child. :)

Very prospective candidate. But CIC treats everybody equally Bro ! ! ! It will not ensure your ITA. However, if u r confident and having enough ime to check all the new rules, then agent is not at all required. Moreover CIC does not like anyone to use agent. Already Visa Centre clients suffering

My suggestion is to fly via Chicago,IL or New York,NY as less time consuming and less price by Etihad or Qatar or Emirates or Turkish (chronologically)

Regards

Thanks a lot for your suggestion. would that be a issue with the immigration if i first land in Toronto or Calgary and then go to Winnipeg, as because i got nominated by Manitoba Province.

Hmmm. But, isn't a transit visa required for a Bangladeshi national to land in the USA?
