Dear mates
Yesterday I submitted the passport through VFS. During passport submission, I asked the counter women about my old passport to submit or not. She said that i can submit both passport and many people submit their old passport. Somehow i convinced and submit both passport. However, there was no request for expired passport in my ppr mail and asked to submit expired passport only if it contain any valid Canadian study visa. So it was worthless to submit expired passport for me, my spouse and dependent child.
Is there any reason to be worried about this matter?

May I know why did you submitted you old passport ? What' was the logic behind it? ???

Did you updated your new passport after submitting application to CIC? if yes, how did you notify them regarding your new passport? I am also planning to update my passport after sending application to CIC for extended validity.

Hi all seniors,

We already did our medical on 08-Oct-2014 EXCEPT my wife X-RAY because at that time she was PREGNANT.

Today (18-May-2015) I went to clinic and check, me and my wife want to do full medical for both of us instead of doing her X-RAY ONLY.
Because the first time we did our medical is about 7 months (except my wife X-RAY). But the clinic say we cannot any how do our medical as they need NEW IME NUMBER from CIC in order to do this. So they say ONLY go and do my wife X-RAY. Please advice me.

My wife X-RAY will submit on coming 27-May-2015. After that we should except to received NEW FORM to fill up for NEW BORN my baby girl or any other things? How long it will take?Thanks in advance.

By the way, Did Visa Office inform you or how do you know your file was transferred from Singapore Visa Office to Manila Visa Office? Please let me know.

Dear Bro, don't be frustrated. If your application is not processed this year, then we will have the same situation. You are 5 th Sep applicant and mine is 19 Sep. I don't expect that our application will not be processed because our already October applicants has got PPR.

Beside this, it is confirm that we will not receive MR this month. This month they are clearing PPR in a batch who had their medical FEB, MAR & APRIL. Already 15 applicants got their PPR this month.

I hope that good number of applicants will receive MR in June.

As per SGVO SS MR Issued & DM/Visa Issued/PPR to Applicants by month as follows-

From the statistics it is evident that when there is MR Rain, there is less of DM/Visa Issued/PPR Rain and when there is DM/Visa Issued/PPR Rain, there will is less chance of MR.

I renewed my passport b4 my application submission to CIC. But my child passport updated after submission. I did not inform anything to cic about this.
Actually I submitted old passport as the woman at the VFS counter asked to submit both passport after I discussed with her about old passport.

Canada is better for entitlement and benefit. On the other hand Australia has good weather but kind of isolated.

Alhamdulillah! Brother, you were worried after getting DM within 30 days of having completed the medical. You got PPR exactly after one month from the medical.
