Shamrajjo bhai,

Could you pls explain the difference between Security and Criminality?

My GCMS says Criminality: Passed.. Is it because of the PCC I have sent with the initial application?

Mainly, what I want to know is: where does the "traveled countries" check will fall? under Security or Criminality?

As I understand that Security Clearance means each applicant aged 18 or over for PR Visa needs to undergo to prove that he or she is not criminally inadmissible.

PCC is one of them but initially it is treating as non-criminal activity but must be obtained from the country of current residence and from each country in which the applicant has resided for more than 6 months since his or her 18th birthday.

All applicants for Canada immigration must also undergo a background clearance to weed out those who have been, or are involved in espionage, subversion or terrorism. This is to ensure that the safety and order of Canadian society are maintained and protected. Such security screening decisions are made based on information from every available source, which is then carefully weighed to determine whether an applicant is likely to threaten the internal security of Canada.

I hope it will light you on some info.....

I did my Medical on 5th March 2015, My Decision was made on 23 April 2015. I have received my Visa 0n 26th April, Brother!

Hi bhai. The time between DM and receipt of visa for you is quite little! :o How did you know within days of DM that a visa was issued to you?! Did you not have to wait until you received the physical passport from VFS?

Samrajjo bhaia,

Hi. Here is what I can say. When VO sends MR, a blank from is sent along with it. The form must be filled out and returned to VO with information on where medical took place. If the spouse and/or any dependents do the medical at a different address other than where the principal applicant did it, then the lower half of the form has space to write down that second address also.

Hello everyone,
I want to take 12000 CAD as settlement funds for landing, but as per Bangladesh Bank's law I can take up to $5000 for single travel (I will travel as a single person). How can I take rest of the money for proof of required settlement funds? Thanks for your help (it will be appreciable if you provide me the links in this forum about that or any external links).

I can give you tricky solution...

Actually there is no any rules that you have to carry your POF when you land CA. It depends on you how much fund you can carry to survive Canada in your initial stage and suggest to get more to avoid any depression on shortage of fund on your daily life. But if you carry more than CAD10,000 then you need to declare in the CA immigration to avoid TAX impose in future or how you gain the amount in there reason immigration officer need to check / notify either anyone brought money more than 10000 rules to declare.

Well from Bangladesh, no one can carry foreign currency more than their yearly balance travel quota. However from my initial assessment if any single person lives at CA it could cover CAD10,000 for an year cost. Now how you can carry that CAD10K if there is no plan to move more than an year or no one can help to send any fund from here to there !!!!

1. Endorse Passport USD7000 for Non-SAARC from TQ against any international Credit Card or EBL has similar USD Prepaid card.
2. Carry CASH USD5000 + CAD2500 equivalent USD7000 for TQ.

I don't find any problem with that and if you need any fund in future you can request anyone from BD can transfer from outside to Canada through Bank Transfer money without any problem.... Like send money from HK/China/BKK through money transfer and can carry cash from BD to those country easily or some third party can serve you by some their charges in BD.... WOW no problem at all.....

Hope it may help you ;D ;D

Bangladesh has Canada Immigration approved panel physician and your family can do Medical from BD because eMedical system is followed from BD as well.

Actually I have long travel history.. I have heard from someone in this forum that they will check with each and every country applicants have ever visited.. and the more country you have visited the process will be longer..

So I was wondering whether this check (traveled countries) falls in Criminality or Security..
