yes it was fast indeed..And yes I saw many weird activities with my application from SGVO Till date ;)..they actually sent a money receipt of acknowledging 150 CAD DD for my NBB via courier mail not any acknowledgement mail

That was fast processing and at the same time also weird that they send acknowledgement mail over courier mail. :o :o

Re: Conversion charge on RPRF online payment

Ohh! I completely forgot about the service charge at SCB! And, no, I do not hold an account with SCB. So, I am definitely going to have to pay more than 1800 takas to SCB. Still, I would like to find out about the [USD --> CAD] conversion charge on the CC option.

Bhaiya,

When I made DD for our initial application fee in Sep'14, they charged from my a/c TK1,344 against 1400CAD @ 71.8675. But that time conversion rate was 69.25 in XE.COM but now it is 62.83. It is around 9.27% lower from Sep to Apr.

For your easy ref that most probably bank changes USD15 / DD + 10% TAX.

Hope it will help you....

Thanks , so far I know If your replied query is satisfied then will get 2nd line update ," we started processing your application on *** " after few days of 2nd line will get MR/RPRF/ PCC / Bank statement etc.

Hope for the best

SUSAN

The conversation rate is slightly higher than that is shown on the web. Like I checked on google and prepared for a rate 61.5tk/cad. But at bank they charged
me something like 63.5tk/cad. So check the current rate on web and prepare to add something extra on that.

Dear Seniors,

does SGVO fix any deadline for submitting passport in PPR mail. i am going to perform hajj this year. so for Hajj purpose, i will need my passport from the end of July till the end of September. my 3rd line was updated on 20th march and they received my RPRF receipt on 23rd march. since then, i haven't heard from them. by the grace of Allah, if i will receive my PPR in the first half of may, and if i submit my passport, there will be a chance of not getting back it by the end of July. Then i will be in trouble, because i may submit it to hajj agency at that time. so to avoid this circumstances, i want to submit it after returning back from Hajj. Is it possible? will they allow me to take 5 more monthes (15th may to 15th October, i am assuming here that i will get PPR by 15th may) to submit my passport after getting PPR. Experts, Please suggest me.

Brothers, thanks but I did not ask about the conversion rate between BDT and CAD but conversion charge from USD to CAD while using a credit card.

Just checked my Ecas status.... 4th line updated this morning. it says "A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision." what does it mean?

Bhaiya,

Congrats for your good news about your Ecas changed to "Decision Made"
That means you will receive your PPR very soon.

As per VO communication there is required to submit 30~60 days of passport submission so you may get time after your Passport return to apply for you Hajj visa.

Here is example for the email from VO to applicant -
----------------------------------
You must comply with the above requirements within sixty days (60) from the date of this letter. Failure to comply with these instructions may result in the refusal of your application.

IMPROTANT NOTES about Visa and Passport Validity
You should ensure that everyone in your family has a passport valid for a minimum of 12 months from the date of the most recent full medical examination. Visas can only be issued to a maximum validity of 12 months from the date of your most recent immigration Medical Examination (IME) assessment. If your family has medical examination on different dates, the validity of your visas will be 12 months from the date of the first assessment. If any one of your passports will expire before 12 months from the date of the medical examination, your visas will expire on the date of the first passport to expire. If your passports will expire soon, it is your interest to obtain new or updated passports to ensure your visas are issued with maximum validity.

After you submit your passports
 Please allow one month for permanent resident visa(s) to be printed and affixed in your passport(s). Do not contact our office to enquire about the status of your application until after one month has passed.
---------------------

Also please remember that you have only 12 month time to land CA after your MR done. If you make it delay for get your PR visa after your HAJJ then there will be very tight schedule for you.

I am not discouraging to attend your Hajj but please calculate your timing and plan a proper way.

Good luck....

As if someone from VO read this message and updated your 4th line. Hopefully you will get the passport request and visa soon.
