I have received my AOR mail at 6th March from SGVO. NOC 4011, 23rd Oct applicant.
I was a public university lecturer during my application and now i have promoted as an Assistant Professor. I did not informed this change to VO and I am not interested to do this as they may ask for job certificate or other docs again. Is it ok? or it cause a problem in my immigration process. Please advise me.

Hello brother,

Hmm.... I am surprised by SGVO's inconsistenct wording in their mail communications to applicants regarding RPRF. A number of others received instructions that they could use any of the 2 options:
1. online
2. DD

Yours is different for some reason. Anyway, I think you are right. It is a good idea to send them a CSE on it and let them clarify. Most probably they will tell you that you can use either of the 2 options. I hope so.

For the photos, please read masud.Optimus brother's post. According to him, "the measurement of the photograph is 35 mm x 45 mm with unedited white background." So, it is NOT the same as a passport-sized photo.

"þ Pay the Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF) for you (and your spouse/common-law partner, if applicable)."


Since my email does not mention anything about payment method should I communicate with the Singapore office regarding the payment method?


and the photo for medical examination-- is it the same size as we sent with the application or any PP size photo will do..

You should inform VO in regards of job change/promotion.

Is it mandatory to enter first time at preferred location which is mentioned in Generic Form ? Or I can go to other location rather than mentioned in Generic Form.

Note :: I have mentioned preferred location in Ontario - Toronto in my form but I want to enter Calgary.

2. My Action Plan Session (MAP Session) – Either on 25/26/27 March 2015 for a duration of 1 to 1.5 hours. The MAP Session is a personalized one-to-one session with a Canadian trained CIIP Orientation Officer, where you will develop an action plan, and receive direct referrals to Canadian organizations that assist immigrants. You will be notified of your MAP Session time in advance.

You should inform VO in regards of job change/promotion.

In AOR mail, I do not find anything to inform about promotion. However, is it Ok to inform by Case specific enquiry only or i need to send additional documents? Please suggest me about how to inform VO about this change.

I found in my AOR mail as follows-
When should I contact CIC?
You must notify CIC of any changes to your application. Examples of changes include:
• Changes in your personal circumstances, such as birth or adoption of a child, a marriage or a divorce
• Change of contact information (e-mail, mailing address, telephone number)
• Appointment or change of immigration representative or designated individual
• Decision to withdraw your application.

Feeling frustrated

I just came back from SCB north Gulshan branch. Went there to make query regarding the RPRF procedure. Some instructions are following:

Dont go on Sunday. they dont do DD on Sunday.
Copy of Medical request, i mean the attached PDF file (for all family members)
Copy of RPRF email
Marriage Certificate/ Nikkah Nama
Generic Application Form
Passport (all family members)
Medical's Money Receipt

Ohh!! another good news to share. Today's exchange rate is 62.90 taka/CAD. I remember i paid 72 taka per CAD. if you are not account holder of SCB, you will have to pay another approx. 1800 tk as service charge.
