Anyone paid landing fee(or any fee online) with EBL credit card? Can someone let me know how to proceed? Do I need to endorse the money to passport first?

Hi All

Is it mandatory to enter first time at preferred location which is mentioned in Generic Form ? Or I can go to other location rather than mentioned in Generic Form.

Note :: I have mentioned preferred location in Ontario - Toronto in my form but I want to enter Calgary.

You can land anywhere you want except for Quebec. It doesn't matter either you have mentioned in Generic form.

So keep your plan as you are thinking now.

52 days gone. No AOR yet. What should I do? I changed my job. I am ready with my job change documents. Waiting to be sent after getting AOR. Please advise...

Hi Bro,

Don't worry... you file can't be as like MH370.
CIC/VO will come back to you.
Once they will notice you then you can send your Job change docs to them.
Otherwise it will not work for your change anything for your application.

Wish you will get your AOR soon.

I have never been to outside of my country during application to FSW. Recently I have visited abroad for 10 days.Should I inform d visa office abt update travel info? Should it requires to send hardcopy of updateed travel info application to SGVO address that mentioned in AOR mail?

Hi Bro,

It will not impact on your application about your recent travel history changes. So you don't need to send anything at this moment.

If VO will ask your submit your additional documents including your travel history then only you can send your updated papers.

I have received my AOR mail at 6th March from SGVO. NOC 4011, 23rd Oct applicant.
I was a public university lecturer during my application and now i have promoted as an Assistant Professor. I did not informed this change to VO and I am not interested to do this as they may ask for job certificate or other docs again. Is it ok? or it cause a problem in my immigration process. Please advise me.

Hi Bro,

If you change your job institute/university then you should update to VO otherwise it will not impact on your application due your promotion as your job responsibility/roll is not changing anything with your NOC.

I dont expect MH370 but its slower than BD railway. Usual time for AOR 30-45 days after PER. Its already crossed general time frame. Thats why I am worried. Hope u understand bro.

In AOR mail, I do not find anything to inform about promotion. However, is it Ok to inform by Case specific enquiry only or i need to send additional documents? Please suggest me about how to inform VO about this change.

I found in my AOR mail as follows-
When should I contact CIC?
You must notify CIC of any changes to your application. Examples of changes include:
• Changes in your personal circumstances, such as birth or adoption of a child, a marriage or a divorce
• Change of contact information (e-mail, mailing address, telephone number)
• Appointment or change of immigration representative or designated individual
• Decision to withdraw your application.

It is always advised to keep updated and clear VO.
Why do u add up some pain for not letting them updated.
Just raise a CSE and notice them you are promoted. They will not ask any JD as your points has been calculated based on your submitted doc.

To pay online through credit card you need to make sure that your card is allowed for foreign transactions, ie. dual currency card.
Then you need to make sure your card have enough balance.
Then you need visit bank to endorsed usd in your passport. (it may 1-2days)
Then you need to call customer service and ask them to open your international payment gateway. (it will be open for a certain time, they may ask u reason,amount and no of transactions you need to be authorised too)

Then you will open cic site and pay online, keep the receipt for further reference.

Thats et... preety simple.. as i have done several times for buying tickets, hotel bookings, buying softwares, domains, wes payment etc etc..


And finally i also wish i will get the chance to pay my payment very soon inshallah...

i have received MR and RPRF request in a single mail . i have done my medical and went to bank for DD . i provide them medical receipt form and the mail copy that i receive from my vo . but he said need invoice copy . but i did not receive any thing . can anybody tell me what is these? i am worried........... plz help.

I have applied on August 2014 and deposited around BDT 11lac as proof of fund in my account for 2 person. Now it has been almost 7/8 months and due to some unavoidable circumstances I had to transfer the amount as fixed deposit in the same account. Will it be a problem or do I need to notify CIC about the change? Because when I sent the proof of fund I have sent the current balance of my account which was around BDT 11lac equivalent CAD. But there were no fixed deposit at that time. I have opened a fixed deposit recently and if they investigate they will not find the amount I have sent as proof. But I have the same amount (BDT 11lac) as fixed deposit now under the same account. Will they check for Fixed deposit or only the current balance? Can anyone help me?

Do not worry... its not a big issue at all.
It is not also mandatory to keep the cash idle in bank account during the process as there is not guarantee that an application will get a visa or not.
It is an eligibility criteria that you have enough fund available which you can take with u if u get visa.
And to show up the fund we often choose bank account and FD. As long as you can provide that you have adequate fund during MR stage its fine. This is obvious for every applicant who will get visa will take maximum of his fund from BD and settle down in Canada... if not then why they have applied??.. This is not like a student visa that parents is giving 1 yrs tuition and student go over abroad start working in pizza shop and continue his study and arrange living and save up tuition..

Do not worry at all bro... Its fine if u could provide some portion in FDR and some portion in savings account.
