Hi Tuhin bhai! Congratulations because your application reached CIO (Central Intake Office in Canada) only 2 days before the deadline ;D. Next step is CIC will send you an email (the email is referred to as PER - Positive Eligibility Review) where it will be mentioned that they have received your application and it will now be forwarded to the SinGapore Visa Office (SGVO) for further processing

Thank you

Is there any forum thread to discuss about future life in Canada, like career planning and finances for the first few months?

Seniors, other than the MR mail, I received another mail from where i got to know about RPRF. Below here, I am quoting from the mail:

"After completing your medical examination and all required lab tests, send all the documents from the list below to this office in one envelope.

þ Updated IMM 5669 Schedule A Background / Declaration, completed with up-to-date information by you and your spouse. Fill the form on the CIC Web site then print it: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5669E.pdf

You must provide complete details of your personal history and addresses since the age of 18. Do not leave any gaps. Failure to account for all time periods will delay the processing of your application.

þ Four (4) passport-sized photos, taken within the past 3 months, of yourself and your spouse. On the back of only one photo of each person, write the person’s name and date of birth. Please do not staple the photos. The photos must meet the attached specifications.

þ Pay the Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF) for you and your spouse. You may wish to pay your fees online or visit our website for more information.

Submit a copy of the payment receipt with the above requests to this office in one envelope."

My question is
1. what does they mean by attached specification for the photo where the mail doesnt have any attachment. have i missed something here?
2. is it usual that they ask for recent photograph along with RPRF?
3. What is the measurement? Is it 35 mm x 45 mm?

Eagerly waiting for your reply. Thanks in advance.

The measurement of the photograph is 35 mm x 45 mm with unedited white back ground.

Dear Kazi Bhai,
I did my medical on 5th March 2015.Its very easy out there.

I would suggest to go to Wahab's since it sends e-medical report.
They are open from 8.00 to 13.00 in the morning. And from 16.00 to 18.30 in the afternoon.
Recommend you to go early in the morning to expedite the process.
Please take prints of the medical request forms( You need not to take photographs. You can take photos of your infants If Any)
Take the Passports with you for their identity verification.

Contact number of Wahab:+88 02 8821454.

Dont worry Much. They will only take samples of your Blood and Urine and a Simple X-Ray.

Hi Bhai,

Doesn't the mail that asks you to pay RPRF, mention exactly how you should pay it? One lucky person told me that he was instructed specifically to pay RPRF online and SGVO told him the procedure. If they mention that RPRF should be paid with a DD (demand draft) then you will have to go to Standard Chartered. How to get a DD from Standard Chartered is a separate chapter of discussion because they ask you for a long list of supporting documents. This forum has details on that.

Please read the mail again to see if you have been instructed along with a procedure to pay RPRF in a particular way, and please do let us know. :)

Extract from the mail

"þ Pay the Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF) for you (and your spouse/common-law partner, if applicable)."

Since my email does not mention anything about payment method should I communicate with the Singapore office regarding the payment method?

and the photo for medical examination-- is it the same size as we sent with the application or any PP size photo will do..
