বোর্ডিং লাউঞ্জে ঢুকার আগে ফাইনাল নিরাপত্তা তল্লাশি..। মুন্সিগঞ্জের লৌহজং এর কানাডিয়ান এনআরবি জনাব ইব্রাহিম এর মানিব্যাগে ধরা পড়ে ৪৫০০ মার্কিন ডলার সমতুল্য কানাডিয়ান মুদ্রা। যায় কই?? বোর্ডিং লাউঞ্জে নিয়ে বলা হল, ট্রাভেল কৌটা অনুযায়ী ৩০০০ মার্কিন ডলারের বেশি নেয়া যাবেনা, এয়ারপোর্টে পরিচিত লোক থাকলে কারো কাছে অতিরিক্ত মুদ্রা রেখে যেতে হবে। ক্রাফটে উঠতে দেয়া হচ্ছিলনা তাঁকে।

আসলেই তো তাই! সামনে টানানো ট্রাভেল কৌটার হিসেব তো তাইইই বলে! কিন্তু অতিরিক্ত মুদ্রা নিতে এ মুহুর্তে কার সাধ্য যে ইমিগ্রেশন ক্রস করে বোর্ডিং লাউঞ্জে যাবে?? এদিকে অন্য যাত্রিদের বোর্ডিং প্রায় শেষ। নিরুপায় হয়ে ফোন করলেন চাচাতো শ্যালক জনাব আমিন (০১৬১৬৮৩৩৩৩৩) কে। আমিন ফোন করলেন আমাদেরকে। কী আর করা...

জনাব ইব্রাহিম কানাডিয়ান পাসপোর্টধারী। অথচ জানেন না, তাঁর কী অধিকার!! তাইতো ট্রাভেল কৌটার ভেতর ঢুকিয়ে আঁটকিয়ে দিল তাঁকে ১৭ জানুয়ারি দেশে এসেছিলেন ৫০০০ মার্কিন ডলার সমমূল্যের কানাডিয়ান মুদ্রা নিয়ে। ফিরে যাচ্ছিলেন অব্যায়িত ৪৫০০ মার্কিন ডলার সমমূল্যের মুদ্রা নিয়ে। এবং শেষ পর্যন্ত আইন অনুযায়ী তাইইই নিয়ে গেলেন...!!

ফরেইনার, এনআরবি এবং নন-এনআরবি প্রবাসি বাংলাদেশিদের জন্য ঐ ট্রাভেল কৌটা প্রযোজ্য নয়..ম্যান। এঁদের ক্ষেত্রে বাংলাদেশ ব্যাংক সুনির্দিষ্ট গাইড লাইন দিয়েছে...। যেই পরিমাণ মুদ্রা নিয়ে দেশে এসেছেন অনধিক সেই পরিমাণ মুদ্রা পাসপোর্টে এনডোর্সম্যান্ট ছাড়াই নিয়ে যেতে পারবেন। শুধু দেখতে হবে... আসার সময় ৫০০০ মার্কিন ডলারের অতিরিক্ত হলে নির্ধারিত এফএমজে ফরমে ডিক্লেয়ার করেছিলেন কিনা। আপটু ৫০০০ মার্কিন ডলারের ক্ষেত্রে তো এরূপ ডিক্লেয়ারেশনের প্রশ্নই আসে না.........

Initial review means after receiving file from CIC, VO will go through each & every docs and will check again. CIC only checks whether you have provided all the docs that they have asked for. And whether your payments are ok or not. Means whether you have submitted a complete application or not. When they are satisfied they declare your application as "ELIGIBLE". Rest all are in VO's hand.

Below is the link. You have make the entry again. But this time after submission when the new window will appear just click on "Edit Your Response" link and bookmark that for any future update. And i was surprised cozz you were like a ghost.

for a 3 people family fund Endorsement:

Option 1:
1. Your passport= 3000 USD Cash + 4000 USD International Bank Draft in your name
2. Your Spouse= 3000 USD Cash + 4000 USD International Bank Draft in your spouse name
3. Your baby= 1500 USD cash from Bank + 1000 Cad cash from money exchange

Total = 15500 USD (19000 CAD) + 1000 CAD= 20000 CAD

3 people find requirement is 18000 CAD

Option 2:
1. Your passport= 3000 USD Cash + 4000 USD International Bank Draft in your name
2. Your Spouse= 3000 USD Cash + 4000 USD in EBL/ Brac Bank Prepaid Travel Card
3. Your baby= 1500 USD cash from Bank + 1000 Cad cash from money exchange

Interesting and helpful info. It should be noted that the total travel limit in non-SAARC countries for a person during a calender year is USD 7000 among which a traveler can carry upto USD 3000 per trip. However, as far as I am concerned & as per Bangladesh Bank rule, the USD 3000 limit is imposed for US dollar only. Hence, A person can and should be able to endorse USD 3000 and rest of the remaining annual limit (USD 4000) in other currency notes i.e. Canadian dollars, GBP, EURO. A person can endorse both currencies same time totaling the annual quota of USD 7000 from banks with proper endorsement.A proper bank endorsement will help him to face customs and airport authorities without any impediment. However, due to misunderstanding of the BB policy, many people and even bank officials sometimes try to avoid such endorsement. Suggestion - try SCB.

Yes, However It depends on the availability of Canadian dollars. If they refuse even by any chance even after having other currency balance, try talking with their senior officials.

February 2, 2015, Ottawa (CIC) — Canada's Citizenship and Immigration Minister Chris Alexander announced that the first round of top-ranked candidates from Canada's Express Entry system is already helping to fill demonstrated and verifiable gaps in Canada's labour market.

On Saturday, January 31,779 skilled workers, including professionals in natural and applied sciences, and industrial, electrical and construction trades, were invited to apply for permanent residency in Canada. Each of these candidates declared that they already have a valid job offer or provincial nomination.

Under Express Entry, skilled workers who want to apply to Canada's key economic immigration programs are able to create an online profile and express their interest in coming to Canada permanently.

Candidates who are accepted into the pool are ranked according to various factors, including language proficiency, education and work experience. Each is a leading indicator of one's likelihood of integrating fully and quickly into Canadian society and making an optimal contribution to the economy.

Canada will regularly invite the highest-ranking candidates from the pool to apply to immigrate. With most applications being processed in six months or less, candidates will be able to contribute to Canada's economy and job market more quickly than ever before.

May be 31779 created a profile but only 779 got the invite to process forward.
