Hello members, One my friend ask me to help for work visa/work permit. He about to get a work permit visa from a Bangladeshi agency. They give him to see a photocopy of similar VISA issued from their agency for another client. It include something like below info:

Visa Category - V1 Employment
Issued at- Dhaka
No of Entries -1
Validity - 2 years

So the question is it fake or real. Because the cost/service charge is huge in this case.Suggest me how can I help him?

Zia bhai, excellent. praying for you. Please keep the original receipt (once medical done then they will handover to you) with u till you board in canada. and try to use Wahab clinic other makes issues with report. i heard this one

afruq,,,, your should see another line ( 3rd line) on ECAS "Medical result has been received". normally CIC update medical status after 5-10 days of test done. Check again your ecas, if you still cant see then call the laboratory you did your medical to check when they sent result & how is result???

I received my PER on Dec 01, 2014.
So, I guess CIC has verified my 'Proof of Settlement Funds' by now.
Will it be safe to encash/transfer the Fixed Deposits now?

Another thing is, 35 days have passed since PER, but I haven't received AOR yet. Should I raise a Case Specific Inquiry in this regard ?

hanks for reply. Its for my friend. He will not score for express entry. I applied for FSW 2014. Got PER and AOR already. Waiting for Medical Req. Just need to know how to verify the given VISA is valid or not?

If everything is correct then one thing is wrong and that is place of issue. Cozz for BD visa will be issued from Singapore not from Dhaka. So it will be written as Singapore. AND V-1 MEANS IT'S A VISITOR VISA NOT AN EMPLOYMENT VISA. THE WORK PERMIT VISA WILL BE W-1. So i'm 100% sure that it's fake.

My application date is 19 September 2014.

My DD has been encashed between 15 - 21 December 2014.

But yet I have not received any PER mail.

When can I get PER mail?

If I want to make a query about my application, is it the right time?

What is the link to make the query?

In the middle or last week of January Hopefully you'll receive PER. You may receive it earlier than this time also. If you see the SS you'll see that now there is time gap of one month between charging & PER receiving.

Within a week i hope you'll receive AOR. And when SGVO will issue MR they may ask for the proof of fund again. As far as i know they did it to many applicants. So this your decision what should you do with the fund. You may transfer now but later if VO asks for it again that time they may raise a question about the transfer of the fund and they may want an explanation.

Today I collected tickets for my full family from IOM (International Organization for Migration, an agency of the United Nations). I have planned to leave in 2nd week of April. IOM has unbelievable offer for students, immigrants and their family members at a concessional rate.

You can book Emirates/Turkish/Qatar airlines flights with IOM. You can also compare their rate of fare with that of other travel agents. I bought Emirates tickets as it was cheaper than Turkish airlines tickets if bought from travel agent. It cost Tk. 68917/- for adults and Tk. 52,262/-. (In case of Turkish airlines ticket bought from travel agents the cost is roughly Tk. 75000/- for adults and Tk. 62,500/- for children over 2 years. It will differ if duration of booking period is longer). With IOM price of Turkish airlines tickets is a bit lower than Emirates. But Emirates is class-1 airliner so I preferred Emirates. According to Emirates website the price is USD- 1323.80 (adult) and USD- 1008.10 (child). So with IOM I got roughly Tk. 1,36,000/- concession for 4 tickets. IOM does not provide this offer for other routine visas. And one can enjoy this offer only one time- during migrating form BD and again during coming back from any country for good (not every time we travel). These rules also apply for students also.

I got the linkage of IOM from Dr. Uttam Roy (uroy in forum) who has already travelled and confirmed their service.

I met and talked to the assigned officer today about all forum members and he warmly offered his assistance to you all. He just requested to book for flights as soon as possible for the lowest price (Emirates/Turkish airlines).

You have to send another email confirming the booking and after your mail they will confirm the booking with the airlines.

You will get several days to pay for the tickets. Once you are ready inform IOM office and they will send you the final price and schedule early in the morning and YOU HAVE TO SUBMIT THE EXACT AMOUNT IN IOM"S ACCOUNT AT STANDARD CHARTERED BANK (Any branch) ON THE SAME DAY AND RETURN THE DEPOSIT SLIP TO IOM"S OFFICE at Gulshan-1 on the SAME DAY so that they can buy the ticket from the airliner. He will take 2 working days to hand you over the e-ticket. You have to collect the tickets from IOM's office in person or by sending someone (to prevent forgery by any one like travel agent). After that he will mail you the e-tickets again. (I came to know and experience the whole procedure today while collecting my tickets, that's why I did not inform you guys earlier. It's nothing secret).

There is allocation of one room/ticket for each adult person. But you must ensure the booking. It can also be done during departure for Dhaka Airport but the Emirates officials encourages pre-booking so that you won't be in trouble later on. You can also choose and book your seat from there. If you need extra baggage you can also know the procedure and cost.

Hello all
Wishing everyone a happy new year
As you can see I am stuck since 2010 ,my medicals expired in May 2014 and recieved email that they extended it till May 2015 and no need for short landing.
Is there anyone stuck like me here?anyone got extended for 3 times or shall I hope they will send ppr this month?4 month from now our medicals will be expired again anyone has the same experience,because all my emails to LVO the responses vary between medicals extended and your file ynder final review or the automatic response of background verification is still ongoing.

Wahab is closed till 12 Jan 2015. I will do it with Dr lina. my last date of medical is 11 January. 2015
