can i see ECAS status before getting PER? My app was received on 10th October. Waiting for PER.

Everyone used & uses VFS global but some opt to use DHL, FedEx, UPs. Anyway you send a CSE to know your status.

Raisa so far I know and from senior members action we have observed that VFS global only responsible for Passport transmission. If u get PPR with RPRF and Additional doc request then u can transfer ur papers through VFS global with Passport. But if u only get fee and additional doc request u have to submit through courier. I think I am not wrong in this regard.

if u already have UCI no and if ur fee encashed by CIC then u can see ur application status in ECAS before PER.

My application received on 23rd Dec'14 by Lewis in Nova Scotia. Can any one give some light about when CIC can respond to me? And is it by email or
postal courier? Thanks

You should get the notification on you email address which you used during form fill up

i hope u will get update after 2 or 3 months.

Bhaiya he already did that. As you can see he is new here. First i thought he has send all the papers including PP through courier. Later in my inbox i saw that he didn't receive PP. As he is new i gave him those link cozz he doesn't know about VFS. You can see i gave him both addresses. So he will know about it. Beside my office work i follow the forum and post. So sometimes i miss things. My mistake. Thanks bhaiya.

what is PER?
In my ECAS I found

We received your application for permanent residence on May 8, 2014.
We started processing your application on October 21, 2014

On 12- Nov, i got the 2nd mail from them to give them 4 copy recent photos, medical and Right of permanent residence fee. All are given by 30-Nov-14 and what is the next step and how long does it take to get the next stage.

Please let me know.

Thanks a lot Zigsaw and Raisa. I also knew that Passport need to send through VFS global. my NOC is 2173 and i found Zigasaw's file is really getting fast. did u submit PCC first with your main application or may be your NOC is has high demand so it is getting worked out fast.
SO any suggestion, i guess i need to wait and nothing else to do except praying.

yep i submitted PCC at the time of initial application...

@Rumel, i have got the Medical Request, Police Clearance Certificate and Submit of Right of permanent residence fee at 12- nov. I did medical on 22-Nov and send all the papers as requested and copy of medical done receipt to SGP VO on 5th Dec meaning at 5 th they have received as per courier tracking

what is your ecas status now ? If any decision made where they will update first ? I mean is it VFS or ecas or through e-mail. ?
