Dear experts, iv received my PPR,MR,RPRF on 5th December. situation is, I got married recently bt my spouse passport wasn't ready(hopefully will get it within few days).
So, I made a case specific enquiry stating my condition and I got reply as follows:

A request letter was sent to you by email on 05-Dec-2014.

.......

......

You are required to submit the following documents within 30 days from the date of this email:
- a letter explaining how your family composition has changed and requesting that your spouse to be added to your application
- updated IMM0008 Generic and updated IMM5406 “Additional Family Information” form for yourself
- a Schedule A Background Declaration form, and a Family Information form completed and signed by your spouse
- processing fee for your spouse (if accompanying you to Canada)
- notarized copy of the birth certificate of your spouse
- your spouse's valid passport (refer to instructions sent to you on 05-Dec-2014)
- four recent passport-size photographs of your spouse according to the specifications
- notarized copy of your marriage certificate and marriage registration (nikah nama)
- a few wedding photographs
- police clearance certificates for any country in which the spouse has resided in for 6 months or more since turning 18
- the Right of Permanent Residence Fee will need to be paid before a visa can be issued to your spouse (if accompanying you to Canada)
Your spouse will need to undergo a medical examination. We will send you the appropriate form and instructions after receiving the documents listed above.

now, what should I do? should I send my spouse's valid passport along with my passport and all the docs via vfs?or, do I need to send our documents (me and my wife's) separately?

Brother,

You have to send all the requested docs along with your passport together. After that SGVO will send you instruction for your wife's medical.

Dear Expert and experience forum members, I have little experience about air ticketing. So I have some queries in my mind. I eagerly expect the answer of the following questions regarding air ticketing and other issues -

1. In my application the destination place was mentioned in SK, Saskatoon. Can I go anywhere other than Quebec? OR First time will I have to enter into SK, Saskatoon then after few days/months I can any where and settle.

2. What time is suitable for going to Canada?

3. Where( which agency/office) can I by my air ticket?

4. Which airlines is better in the context of economic issue?

5. How long will I have to buy air ticket before going date?

6. Which route is suitable for time consuming and comfortable?

Regards

Akash

Hello All:

Greeting from a newbie...Requesting the experts to enlighten me on the issue of Nikahnama and/or Marriage certificate.

1. I have original marriage certificate on a white paper (part of it can not be read due to smearing),
2. than a nikahnama in Bengali, signed & sealed
3. Nikahnama translated in English, notary certified

Now for first time application, do I only send them the simple photocopy or do I have to notarize the photocopies also. Accept my apology, but would appreciate if any of you please give me some quick tips on this one.
By the way, I am applying under NOC 0111.

Regards,
Sharif

Brother,

You can issue another marriage certificate and you can order it in English. You can issue English nikahnama also. Just you have to request the Kazi office & they will do it. But they may take charge for that. I submitted mine in English and i paid 1400/- for that. And yes you have to submit notarized photocopy

Dear seniors,
My office address has changed. Its just the building, all remain same including phone, fax, web all remain same. Do i need to inform SGVO as I already have received AOR.

Thanks.

Seeking seniors advice. Please help with the above issue.

Thanks again.

Need some advice. I am going to add my newborn. What will be dependant type? Type A or Type 1? My application was received in 30 June 14 and got PER in 27 Oct 14.

In guide line

Type 1The dependent is under the age of 19 and single (not married and not in a common-law relationship).

The following types of children are for applicants who started an immigration process before August 1st, 2014.

Type AThe dependant is under the age of 22 and single (not married and not in a common-law relationship).

I think I should write type A as my application was submitted in 30 June 14. Am I right?

I think you need to wait up to getting AOR. As if you send any queries then they will reply we haven't received your file yet.

I contacted SGVO regarding baby addition. Then they replied like this way.

Will SGVO remain closed from December 15

Thanks for your reply. So after getting AOR. I should notify them about my office address change using CSE.
