Certainly Conversion is not mandatory but when you reveal the reason of certificate some bank's staff will issue letter with conversion rate..... Its a kind of extra favor from bank towards you and your case officer... :-Xnobiul_bashar said:I also agree on the note that CAD conversion is not mandatory since I didn't provide Bank Docs with CAD conversion & I've got PER email from CIC recently.![]()
Thank you so much and +1ashif_eee said:A GCMS note can provide some info regarding ur processing of file. Info like Points that CIC has counted for ur app, When ur file has transferred to local vo in real, reason why an applicant has called for interview, current status of the file/backgrounf check/security check passing status etc. This is not obligatory, its upto applicant whether he want to have this more descriptive info or he is satisfied with CIC/local VO emails/ECAS status.

mcgyver said:Hello Ashif Bro,
I have finally found today the link I was looking for yesterday about GCMS notes. Here it is:
http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/does-ordering-gcms-notes-delay-the-pr-process-t236124.0.html
Please read the conversation between jes_ON and ZingyDNA who are now immigrants. According to their talk, people should be careful not to select physical files while requesting for GCMS notes. Doing so will pull out their files from the queue!
You were right when you said "Case Files" and "Notes in Electronic File" should be chosen while requesting for GCMS notes through the ATIP online link. Physical file is an absolute no no.

For her (Eskaton-Banglamotor, Dhaka) it took a bit more of one month......
Using express mail is normally a good idea. You will never know if the documents just got missing from post office.FSWCIO said:That's right.... Same here as I am not in hurry because I need roughly 1 more month to gather all documents so choosed to have normal post. I also received my application back dur to cap 2 years ago from CIO on normal post which took only 3 weeks. Thanks
That's true... I got nothing to do except wait and be optimisticzstream said:Using express mail is normally a good idea. You will never know if the documents just got missing from post office.
