Recently I emailed my actual job description (list of main duties), the exact job title; the education required for entry into the occupation and the type of organization I work for. And asked them to advice me if they match the title "account manager" mentioned in NOC Code "1114 : Other financial officers". (As no main duties have been mentioned for "Account Manager" in the NOC page, I needed to do this)

They replied :
Based on this response from HRSDC, can I apply with my actual main duties being mentioned in my reference letter ?

Someone told me that, if my main duties mentioned in reference letter do not match exactly with the main duties mentioned in NOC page, my application will be returned. All the clerical officers at CIO want to see is a reference letter, matching the duties stated on the NOC list for intended NOC. They are not subject matter expert or professional headhunters.

Brother can you tell me about the process how to review the reference letter with hrsdc.gc.ca site. I would like to do that also.

Thanks in advance.

If you go to USA as student, it is better to apply from USA (select US visa office, not Singapore)

Dear-
I think you have to look for the following information mentioned in the checklist of Documents-

"If the Visa office you specified for processing your application is not the visa office responsible for your country of responsibility, provide proof that you have been lawfully admitted for a period of at least ONE YEAR to a country for which the specified visa office is responsible."

Need some valuable inputs!!

It means, iamroth has to first get the student visa.and then:
1. The visa got to be more than one year (fulfilling the one year criteria)
2. Need to land USA (lawfully admitted criteria fulfilled)
3. Then apply.

I think one needs to first land in USA with a valid student visa. Then-
1) Stay there for one year.
2) Apply..

Dear Experts-
What will be the National Identity Document number for a Child in the application form? Is it okay to give his/her birth certificate number instead of our NID there>

Will appreciate your comments..

Please let me inform that I have total 9 years of banking experience in BD specially in the field of Syndication, Structured Finance, Investment Bank, Financial analyst. Now I wanna apply for Canadian Immigration. My all documents are under process is expected to be completed by mid August. I need to appear at IELTS exam which is scheduled on next August 02 and August 16. For my better preparation to get good score, August 16 is convenient for me but for that the process will be delayed by 15 days (end of august). Will that delay decrease my probability to be qualified for Canadian Immigration.? Another issue under what occupation I should apply? Financial analyst/Credit Manager/Others. Waiting for your valuable suggestions.

Dear first of all select the NOC code u want to apply....

U can check the appropriate NOC from below web site page...Enter the NOCs (on left side) to get the job details that matches with ur job....:)

Senior managers – financial, communications and other business services (NOC 0013)
Senior managers – trade, broadcasting and other services, n.e.c. (0015)
Financial managers (0111)
Financial auditors and accountants (1111)
Financial and investment analysts (1112)
Securities agents, investment dealers and brokers (1113)
Other financial officers (1114)
Professional occupations in advertising, marketing and public relations (1123)
Supervisors, finance and insurance office workers (1212)

For ur information, NOC1112 and 1111 should/may not have enough time if u apply on mid Aug....So better to check and match with the other (if applicable)...

And apply with that NOC..I guess u will be in that CAP safely...

U can also check the FSW14 spreadsheet for the forecasting...(just multiply by 5 with the sheet numbers to get the global applicants)

Good luck...:)

Legally admitted does not mean legally have to complete staying one year. The moment someone landed, it is legally admitted. And if the visa period is 1 year, then after landing, it is legally admitted (permitted) for one year.

Contact Dhakeshori Mondir for certificate.

If your NID is issued before marriage, don't bother changing it.

Bro-
Are you sure? I am really confused abt the "legally admitted for one yr" thing. I am flying to USA mid next month. Will be there on a five yr multiple student visa with an objective to finish a 2 yrs masters. Does this really mean that I can send my application package from USA (i.e visa office will be Ottawa Office) rather than to send the package from Bangladesh (i.e. visa office will be Singapore).

Really appreciate your response.

Read below:

http://www.cicnews.com/2011/01/understanding-r11-visa-office-submit-application-canadian-permanent-residency-01826.html

Here are a few examples that will clarify how the second provision of R11 as noted above is interpreted under Canadian immigration laws:

• You are a Nigerian citizen currently studying at a university in Australia. You arrived just one month ago and your study permit is valid for 3 years. As a citizen of Nigeria, you always have the option of indicating that you want your application processed at the Canadian visa office in Accra, Ghana (which is responsible for processing permanent residence applications from Nigeria). You also have the option of selecting the visa office in Sydney, Australia, because you have been granted legal status in Australia for more than 1 year and you are currently living there. It does not matter that you have not lived in Australia for one year.
