Hello,

Its about settlement fund.

I had given the balance certificate with my application. I didnt give any statement.

If I do FDR now then I will show it instead of bank statement of six months when CIO wants the statement in future.

Will it be a problem ?
or
Should I have to show the statement from the same account which I have used in application?

Actually, I heard from an consultant that I have to have consistently at least 30% money of the settlement fund in my account.

Whats your suggestions guys?

Ashif Bhai,
What is CPC-O ??? :o

Dear Kaiserahmed,

You can send your MRP passport copy to them. If your file is already transferred to a visa office, then you need to send the MRP passport copy to that particular visa office address along with a covering letter.

Regards,
Fuad

Thank you so much, +1

First of all a huge kudos to the people carrying this thread. You people are awesome (y)

Im totally new here and its only a couple of days ago that I decided to apply under the FSW. So I do apologize in advance as Im gonna go all bazooka with my questions ;D

1. I have a masters degree from Canada and am under the impression that I wouldn't need to get my bachelors degree (obtained from within Bangladesh) assessed from WES or any of the other organization. Am I right?

2. Just to be on the safe side, I am gonna get my bachelors assessed from WES. But my University (DU) is not gonna send the certificates and transcripts directly and there are explicit instruction on the WES site about having it sent directly from the educational institute. Any one here who faced similar issues and if you could please share how you got around it

3. I'm a little confused as to the "determine your eligibility / Education / Masters degree " section of CIC website where it says

"Note: Degree program must be in one of these fields of study: Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Dentistry, Podiatry, Optometry, Law, Chiropractic Medicine, or Pharmacy." link - www . cic . gc . ca/english/immigrate/skilled/factor-education . asp

My masters degree was in Business which is not one of the discipline mentioned above. Does that mean I cannot get the points for a masters degree and will have to settle for just the points for my bachelors. Seems awfully unfair!

4. Although I've been living in Canada for the last 3 years (2 years on study permit and a year on Post Grad Work Permit) I'm currently in Bangladesh for a month and trying to get all my paperwork from here and sit for IELTS from here. I will be going back in a month but planning to apply as soon as possible while I'm in Bangladesh. Should I put my Canadian Address or my Bangladeshi address in all of the forms?

Thank you so much!

I have gathered all my documents, just one confusion. Whether to send just photocopies or notarized copies??

My documents are as follows

1. Bank statements
2. Balance certificate from bank
3. Employment letters
4. Employment reference letter
5. Birth certificates
6. NID
7. Passport copies
8. Marriage Certificate + Nikahnama

Please help me out. There are so many opinions about these on this thread!

I think I did a mistake in my ECA part. I send my documents to WES but did not put any reference number in the academic record request form. As I collected my documents from university before I paid for the account, so I did not have a reference number.
My documents are delivered, but its not updated in my WES account. So what should I do now?
Please help.

Although it is not mentioned anywhere on CIC's website about notarising photocopies but it's always good to have these docs notarised. However docs that are translated into English must be notarised.hope it helps :)

I am from DU also. Recently I obtained ECA from WES for my BBA n MBA. You are right that DU is not going to send the certificates and transcripts directly.

To overcome this, I managed to send the sealed envelope i collected from DU, carrying the certificates and transcripts (along with relevant WES forms containing my WES reference number) to WES via courier.

I wrote "Office of controller of exams, DU" as sender on the courier papers. That's the trick. That is I pretended to be acting on behalf of DU.

All the best !

Cool trick! I am planning on getting my ECA for BBA as well. What NOC are you applying for?
