Hello,
I'm thinking about obtaining my ECA from WES, for applying FSW 2014. Can anyone with ECA experience help me with following issues?

# Do I need to get ECA for my Hon's & Masters only, or do I have to include HSC & SSC also ?

# Can I send only attested copies of 'certificate & marksheet' from my university or do I need to provide "transcript" also ?
(Though transcript & marksheet are same in most cases, bt in my university, I've seen that they issue a spcl document with details of course, syllebus & dates, which is more detailed then the marksheet. It's available only upon request)

# How long does it to get ECA report, after my certificate & marksheets reaches WES ?

Good day to you all. Just joined this forum and found that there's actually a dedicated thread for Bangladeshi which is awesome by the way.

I'm thinking to apply for PR 2014. I was looking into various things. Got some few queries.

1. In Bangladesh I've started to work professionally as software engineer from May 2009 before I finish my BSc . Till now have 5 years of work experience. I've completed my BSc in April 2012, So how my work experience will be calculated? Is it 5 years or 2 years?

2. For ECA I was looking into WES's website but kinda confused about what documents I need to submit. Will it be enough to send transcript and certificates for BSc only? Or do I need to send HSC/SSC certificates and mark sheets too?

1. Masters , Hon's only...

2, Only Cert and Transcript is required.

3. Try to get the docs with express courier (will required 100 CAD extra but it will worth).
In my case it took only five days(1 day rush service was available at that time).

Why it is Hons and Masters? I think it should be only the highest degree for which you want to claim point. In this case only Masters.

Rumel vai, i have already informed that select ur WES shipping as express (100 cad more)...This will probably take 15 days in hand after rcving ur docs by WES...

And dont worry now about the fund..Just try to apply fast...

Thanks for your reply.. Ashif I am worried about the quota. I want to apply for the Software Engineers occupation(2173)

I have some more queries:

1. Do I need adaptability marks? Is it mandatory?
2. I am afraid about the Fund..If they want to know instantly then it will create a big problem. Should I prepare any affidavit for POF and submit it with application?
3. One of my offices(previous employer)just closed and left the country. I have exp certificate which is not similar to the FSWP experience letter guideline like Sal is not mentioned, How many hours worked per day, which projects I did etc. What should I do in that case? Most important thing is that the person who is bangladeshi manager and who signed in this exp letter left to US permanently.
4. When PCC and birth certificate is required? is it required with application?
