It costs us BDT 172,000 for 2 adults and one child.

Routing is : Dhaka (14:00)-Riad (7 hours stay over)-Toronto (9:45, 23 Nov 2013).

Good news for all of us.................

OTTAWA—Canada’s foreign service workers have reached a contract deal with Ottawa, ending a lengthy job action that had delayed visas for foreign tourists and students and slowed travel from abroad.

The tentative deal was announced Thursday afternoon and the union said it would immediately suspend the strike measures and work-to-rule campaign that had slowed work in Canadian embassies and consulates around the globe.

have just exchanged my US licence for a Canadian one(Onterio)...Honestly you can not exchange Bangladeshi one here for a local one. And also here Licence has 3 different stages......Alhamdulillah due to my lenght of driving and and driving record have been granted full liscence...Those of you planning to take international Licence from Dhaka remember it would probably be good for just 60 days...please check

I am new here, i have sent my application on 18 march 2011, my status shows in process since 5 november 2012 and 6th november 2012 singapur visa office issued me a letter requesting additional document regarding proof of relative in Canada. My wife has aunt in Canada. then 25th November2012, I submitted my wife's aunt document to singapur visa office. still my status is IN PROCESS. What will happen to me ?

Hi everyone,
Alhamdulillah, I reached Toronto yesterday at 3:30 PM by Emirates.
Full journey was smooth. 2 of my baggage were 25 kgs, but they pass it without any claim.
None asked me at Shahjalal airport about my money.
Here in Canada, US dollar rate is lower than that of Canadadian. So, pl. endorse little US$ , just as 1000-1500 per passport.
For kind information, now no TC is issued from Bangladesh. You can endorse US$ 2000/- per passport at the best.
I had Tk 10214/- in my money bag at Shahjalal airport. Bank situated in airport, I converted it to US$ easily from Sonali Bank @ tk80/10 per US$ with extra charge tk.260.
In Dubai, it took 1:30 hours to complete all formalities, and took 10 minutes to reach hotel allocated by Emirates. And took 2 hours to complete all formalities in Pearson airport.Temperature at my arrival time was 18C. Comfortable and sunny day.
Service of Emirates is satisfactory.
Today opened bank account with free locker facility in TD bank. And took mobile. no. 0016477669594.
i am in Macey avenue, Toronto, and meet Sohel and Hiru, two of forum member.

Hello forum mates, I've got a serious problem. Would you Please help? Emirates website says total dimension of 2 luggage cannot be 107 inches. Ours exceed this dimension. How strict they are regarding this policy? Our flight was booked in May & Jahangir bhai told us about the allowed weightage (2 luggage of 23kg each). But he did not tell us anything about the dimensions!!! :-[ we are left with less than a week now since our flight is on 29th. Dear experts, please please please suggest!!!

No objection were done on 26 Sep,13.

we have 3 cartons of 62,62 & 65 inches in dimension & 3 trolley bags of 52 to 58 inches. If we add up the dimensions of any 2 the total will exceed 107 inches! I really hope they don't care much. :-\

Don't worry. They care only for wt (considered me up to 25 kg).
