We are four members family. I don,t have any account in stan chat & account open is also hard task in SC. moreover, carrying more cash from another bank to stan chat is also risky.So will it any problem if I endorse from others commercial bank where i can easily open accounts & transfer fund thr.online? My destination is edmonton where others commercial bank endorsement cash,TC etc acceptable in there. Pl.advice

Better go to city bank to make TC and endorsement. Some of our forum friend make it from there without any hassle.

I just want to know what are the requirements to do a survival job (or any kind of job) in Canada. I have landed in Toronto about a month ago as FSW and got my SIN numbers. How could I know that I am authorized to work here ? Being a PR (haven't got the PR card yet, just have the landing document), am I automatically authorized to work any type of job here ?

I know this could be a silly question,,but....

Your SIN number is enough to work in Canada. You don't need other documents as to show evidence that you are authorised to work in Canada. Additionally you may ask to seniors there. I hope this will help you.

Very much liked the positive spirits like swapno, nivrit, casayed bhai. (Jite raho munna bhai......)

Others with pessimist mentality and negative attitude, can form their own blog. We can have 1000 posts criticising/ complining this and that, but all we need is, few lines with this.....s much hope and positive attitude. Probably these positive and sucsess stories are all, we look for in these posts. We all are giving away all our Dhaka career, success, friends, families everything for this, so........ :'(

We all are here to help each other to make the fight easier, crazy negative posts (tough it's sadly true for few of us) might not be the case for everyone. We hope to keep in touch insallah, and time will tell where we young fighters (or should I say mid aged fighters )belong to.

got odd job with sin card after 10 days of landing(with temporary sin paper/number as card is given after few days)

Try to get temporary sin no /paper from airport though it is available upto 6pm(CANADA)

I got the Temp SIN number, and after a week, got the paper as well. On back of my SIN card, it says, ".....This card is not an authorization to work in Canada".

However, here - http://www.servicecanada.gc.ca/eng/about/reports/sin/cop/section2.shtml, it says that "..Canadian citizens, newcomers to Canada or temporary residents must have a Social Insurance Number (SIN) to work in Canada..."

Bit contradictory...

Also, few days ago, a recruiting agency asked my SIN number and to sign some papers, which they didn't give me any copy. I also forgot to ask for it. They said it is required to open a file about me on their database. Is this true ? Could they do any misuse of it ? Bit scared of it..

Please advice...

weekly they will pay you,and they will give u account payee check,do u have any bank account?
