here is what i got for CP and TA from 2 travel agents (for 30-apr-2013)...

Cathay Pacific
will leave dhk at 2100 and land Hk at 0615
leave Hk 1045 and land toronto at 1345

Turkish Airways
will leave dhk at 2245 and land Ist at 0420
leave Ist at 1340 and land toronro at 1740

Turkish Airlines
From Dhaka to Istanbul flight duration: 6.30 hours
Transit Time 1.30 Hours
Istanbul to Toronto Flight duration: 9.45 Hours
Total duration: 18.30 mins Price is 103,000 oneway and 137,000 return in different online ticketing agencies.

Cathey Pacific
From Dhaka to Hongkong flight duration: 4:15 hours
Transit Time 4.30 Hours
Hongkong to Toronto Flight duration: 15.30 Hours
Total duration: 24.30 mins Price is 112,000 oneway and 145,000 return in different online ticketing agencies.

The difference is more than 6 hours. Better you pick Turkish, I think it is cheaper than CP. One thing CP is not operating from dhaka, its Dragon Air.
For more information browse e-bookers, flight centre, expedia.com yourself and you stand better bargain point with the agencies etc.

darun rate-e Emirates-er ticket peyechen! ticket-er jonno ami kivabe IOM-er sathe contact korte pari vai? ei short time-er moddhe ki IOM theke ticket pawa possible naki 3/4month agee theke jogajog korte hoy? ami 30th April jete cacchi...

Bhai 2-3 weeks porey holey kintu you also can try IOM and save almost 40,000 Taka/ person, have you calculated?
If you dont have other major issue save this 1,000 dollars and stay back for IOM tickets. You also save 1 months rental over there mate!
The later you travel cheaper is ticket. If it is 6th June like Parag bhai, pr1979 (only 5 weeks later than your proposed date) you can have tickets probably with around 70,000 taka. All the agencies will quote no less than 110,000 (one way) and all of us already explored this fact with so many contacts and links, just believe me.

For the grace of almighty, today I received my passport with Canada visa on it.. ;D

That concludes my 6 long years of waiting !

So happy to get this..Probably flying to June.

By the grace of Almighty Allah I have received my PPR yesterday night through email from my Lawyer.
Issue date is March 28 2013. Is it needed the original copy of PPR to submit passport to VFS ? Please confirm me someone.
