We are asked to submit our passport after 4weeks from the submission of my new born child's medical. We are having some family issue, which also includes financial limitation. As the time for settling starts from the day of medical, is there anyways, we can get time extension, coz it will be very difficult for me and my family to move there before mid of next year?
Plz suggest , i will be very grateful.

my dad applied for canada in may 2011, but we also did not get any medical request yet and eagerly waiting for it . its almost been 1 yr 10 months.

My visa is valid until Jan 22 of 2014. I did my med in 8 Dec '12. So they gave me visa for more than a year! You can send a request to SVO for visa extension. However they myt ask for re-med in such cases.

Btw, not necessarily you hav to settle in Canada within visa period. U may decide to come back after landing once you get the PR card. I know many ppl who did this.

Kathey pacific recently started 777 till Hongkong, (previously they had the Dragon Air's smaller 767 aircraft) but The issue is timing. They start 2 am from Zia, fly towards east and reach hongkong airport at 5.45 am. Virtually you can't sleep during this short flight and the connecting flight departs in 5 hours. The Hongkong- Toronto flight is the 4th longest flight in the world. :-X. Way too much. I think night traveling without proper halt is an issue for families with kids. Kathey pacific is known for it's good service though. Turkish would be just fine comparing cost versus service and transit is at Istanbul with just about an hour. You reach fastest by Turkish. Interestingly for prices you can explore PIA, as you can avail business class with only 1,54,000 taka return and it's the cheapest with one year open, they had a promotional fare, please check if it's still valid. You get 3 star hotel at Karachi any you fly in style. Problem would be the airport seal of Pakistan in your passport. Your might face problem visiting USA ;D. Otherwise it was superb according to few of my elderly relatives. The best is Emirates I guarantee, still the most expensive.

It takes 25 hours, I think. They refuel at Anchorage, Alaska and it takes 1 hr-2 hr! Its horrible and I dont suggest anyone to go in this route!

will leave dhk at 2100 and land Hk at 0615
leave Hk 1045 and land toronto at 1345

Turkish Airways

will leave dhk at 2245 and land Ist at 0420

Hassles faced in crossing Bangladeshi immigration while exiting/leaving Dhaka.

Does anyone have any idea about what documents of government office, I need to register before leaving Bangladesh ?

Sometimes, people face problems when exiting Bangladesh as they are stopped by Bangladesh Immigration for not carrying certain government agency documents.

Do, I have to take permission/authorization letter from any Bangladeshi government office before leaving Bangladesh to avoid Bangladeshi Immigration hassle.
