Can you please inform? Thanks in advance.

Dear Raj_Hoque Bhai,

Thanks for sharing your experience. Just some questions:

1. What temporary insurance coverage you taken from BD and Amount? See post from Colors. He already replied.
2. What the route of Turkish Air that you fly i.e. what are the touch point or transit and cost of ticket? Dhaka-Istanbul-Toronto. Cost is varying from time to time. Don't consider my case as I had travel through Business Class due to my wife's pregnancy.
3. For showing last year income what documents in need to submit to get child benefit? Nothing required to provide to show last year income. In Canada people trust what you declare.

Regards

Hasan

Please see my response in line in BOLD and RED.

Thanks Brother for showing us the ray of light...as always

I agree, from Bd if we start converting the Dollars in Taka it's really unnecessary. We should consider the value of their Money

We require in BDT
Milk (regular), 1 liter 2.44 C$ 45 Taka
Loaf of
Fresh White Bread (500g). 2.86 C$ 50 Taka
Rice (1kg) 2.35 C$ 42 Taka
Eggs (12) M. 3.00 C$ 120 Taka
Local Cheese (1kg) 10.00 C$ 200 Taka
Chicken Breasts
(Boneless, Skinless), (1kg) 10.34 C$ 400 Taka
Apples (1kg) 3.00 C$ 110 Taka
Oranges (1kg) 3.00 C$ 100 Taka
Tomato (1kg). 2.99 C$ 80 Taka
Potato (1kg) 1.64 C$ I don't Know
Lettuce (1 head) 2.00 C$ I Don't Know

The above proces are in approx figure. See It in a different way. To Purchase 1 ltr Milk they require only 2.44 in their currency where we require 45 unit in our currency. Their currency is 18-40 times stronger then us.
If we can earn in dollar, we can spend so :)

I brought Canadian dollars..conversion was 83.5 from money changer...indeed a good choice to bring Canadian as if you bring US you'll pay more in BDT.

I heard that Canadian dollar is not always readily available in BD.

You are absolutely right...I had to buy from 3 different money changer in 3 different days...no one having a good amount together like US dollars are available in Dhaka...try to keep in touch with 3-4 money changer and try buy them in a day so avoid loss of rate...
