Beximco and my time line is almost the same. My medical was done on Dec 6 and RPRF sent on Dec 24. waiting for PPR.

1. What temporary insurance coverage you taken from BD and Amount?
2. What the route of Turkish Air that you fly i.e. what are the touch point or transit and cost of ticket?
3. For showing last year income what documents in need to submit to get child benefit ?

Previously it was taking only 3/4 weeks from medical done to PPR, but now they are delaying. What is the reason? Does anyone have any idea?

I think the delay is because of the winter holidays (hopefully)

I applied on June 2011. 18 months have passed but my status is still "Received by Visa Office". Meanwhile, I changed my job 1 year ago and my spouse (the principal applicant) changed his job 6 months ago, but we didn't update our information to CIC. Can anyone let us know how to update the information?

Sun life offered me $454 with $50 deductibles for a family of 3 members including child for 3 months untill I get Health Card...airlines costs are now bit higher as new year, christmas and holiday season...

However, in VFS Tracking it is showing the same message as earlier, i.e. "Passport received at High Commission of Canada, Singapore, , Pin:123456, Tel: on 17/12/2012 and is under processing."

It is mentionable here that, I submitted my Passport through VFS on 11/12/2012.

However, in VFS Tracking it is showing the same message as earlier, i.e. "Passport received at High Commission of Canada, Singapore, , Pin:123456, Tel: on 17/12/2012 and is under processing."

So that's a good thing, but did u have any trouble in BD for that? should I declare it or just keep it with me?..Did u convert all your educational certificate equivalent to Canadian education system?

No you don't need to declare anything to BD immigration unless or untill you are asked. I carried good amount of Cash to US also last year. But no one bothers. You just keep it with you.

I have done my grad from Canada so didn't need to convert them...

Did you bring CAD or USD? If USD, which conversion rate you followed? It means, conversion rate from internet or Bangladesh Bank rate?

I brought Canadian dollars..conversion was 83.5 from money changer...indeed a good choice to bring Canadian as if you bring US you'll pay more in BDT.
