Those who are going to apply for MACHINE READABLE PASSPORT (MRP), you can complete your online enrollment by own own. I did it for my case and it really worked great for me. To me, its a great way to input the own information with maximum comfort [which reduces chance of error]. You can just play with this tool, surely you will love it.

I want to change my Manual Passport to Machine readable passport. Can I change my permanent address from Barishal to Gulshan address (NB:I use Gulshan address as Mailing Address in schedule & My dependent (Spouse & Child) permanent address is Gulshan).

Seek ur advice n comments.

NB: today I have sent all documents (Police Clearance, schedule , PNWS, PRF) to Singapore & done our medicale on 30.10.12.

manual to MRP is a good decision, but why change the permanent address?? might raise some questions to the passport authority, IMO

Yes, you can change your permanent address to Gulshan. But they might ask for some relevant documents [I am NOT sure though about those].

Its great to hear that you have send all the docs to SGVO. Have you checked when your medical report was delivered to Manila? You can take the tracking number from the doctor's office and track the delivery.

Good luck!
:)
dear Smiling Face,
So far i know, permanent address cant be changed.
As my present add changed 2 times during this procedure.
Then i wanted to change also my permanent add; but they told it was not possible.
And one thing it is better to change add in passport; though it gives hassle for one day, no doubt; but better for smooth running rest of the things.
