Please just ignore evil words. We are here to help and to learn from others. Just this morning I told to a forum member that no body knows when we need help from some one. Keeping good relation one can expect help from others. We wish to move to a new country leaving all others, will need help and surely this forum members will be the closest persons. About 10 years ago a deshi family wanted to migrate to Canada but were short of money. Allah gave me ability to help them, this year when I reached to Canada my Canadian bank card was not working, I got help from him - he was so happy as well as me too. On the other hand more than 20 years ago a relative of mine created problem for us, just yesterday he called to ask my help - I remember his past works.
Keep faith on Allah, continue your help to others - finally you will win.

I believe all forum members here, spend sometime here to help, get help, share knowledge of situation that they would face or already faced. That's why we are here. We do not need to keep ourselves busy with topics which are not useful. As this is an open forum, all members here not necessarily being good. No need to reply all post, those are unpleasant. Arekta important issue about Proof Of Fund (POF) : Jehetu bd gov limited to carry 5000 $, then me my wife and son (5.6 years) how could carry latest updated 17000 Cad ? if 17000 is the requirement, i think 4500 TC nen, 500 cash (karon if the highest limit in bd airport is 5000 and if we take this whole amount in TC, customs officer might ask that you must have something cash with you, otherwise how would you spend on the way?) and rest 12000 er modhe 7000 nen as undeclared and baki 5000 HSBC/SCB er statement/certificate nen to show at canada airport if asked by immigration officer.....
tahole total 12000 is with you and i think for this you have to declare at canada airport (as anything above 10000 must be declared there)

I know several persons who did not carry the whole amount of POF with them. They took around 10K and had the rest of money in SCD or HSBC and collected statement from there to show at POE if asked. And they were not asked to show the full amount luckily. I am also worried about this issue. Experienced members, pl share your views.

it's a good idea to take statement from these international banks, and if asked at POE, we have to say about the restrictions by bd govt. of not allowing more than 5000

Dear NKShumon bhai, my concern is also on the same issue. I am also exploring the POF solution. Some of my friends have suggested me to carry better Draft or traveler check than cash due to security concern.

The real fact is either carry cash then no endorsed is needed but if we took anything like Travelers cheque , Creadit Card or else like cash those must be endorsed and restriction is there too man , I need practical and experienced persons explanation , Because I have heard from some respective lawyer that if we endorsed in the passport IO at bd airport must enquiry you about how much dollar you carrying now , i get informed that the best way to share 5000 each of the family members and take 2000 in hand with you hand your wife and rest of the amount in both of your hand lauggage . Typical situation in bd airport but not in abroad . and we should disclose about carrying 10000 to cbsa officer at ca airport . Actually this is the way on my mind . what do you say about my idea ?? If im wrong then lemme correct and give me right idea please .

Hi members,
I received MR and request of updating docs. Thank God and wish all will have MR too.
Can you help me with the schedule A form, item 8: it says that:"provide details of your personal history since the age of 18, or the last 10 years, whichever comes first"
So I will choose "the last 10 years" because I am over 40 years old. Is it right?
