Dear PQR and others ,

The real fact is either carry cash then no endorsed is needed but if we took anything like Travelers cheque , Creadit Card or else like cash those must be endorsed and restriction is there too man , I need practical and experienced persons explanation , Because I have heard from some respective lawyer that if we endorsed in the passport IO at bd airport must enquiry you about how much dollar you carrying now , i get informed that the best way to share 5000 each of the family members and take 2000 in hand with you hand your wife and rest of the amount in both of your hand lauggage . Typical situation in bd airport but not in abroad . and we should disclose about carrying 10000 to cbsa officer at ca airport . Actually this is the way on my mind . what do you say about my idea ?? If im wrong then lemme correct and give me right idea please .

You can carry with you but do not keep much in the purse or wife`s vanity bag or inside pocket, off course some amount to be inside the purse. Also do not keep all together in the same place of the any bag so on scanner those will clearly show. Many carry more than 20K in hand bags. Customs usually check based on psychology of the passengers. While talking be with full confidence. It is not an issue at all. Finally if any unfortunate situation, talk calmly to an officer, explain why do you need to carry - sure you will get help. Finally our deshi way - you know what I mean. Best of luck.

As I have been living in London, my visa office is LVO. According to my recent Caips note, I was given psdec=1 and seldec=4 and my medicals and updated docs requests and pof were all printed but not sent as yet. The problem is, my leave to remain in the UK will be expired by mid January and I have to leave for my country Bangladesh before mid January 2013. Someone told me that if I leave the uk and go to Bangladesh, the LVO will transfer my file to SGVO which will take even longer to finalise the visa issuance. Is there anyone who changed their country of residence and accordingly their visa office has also changed? Please someone let me know if you have any idea about this. Many thanks in advance.

In general they do not change from LVO to SVO at least I know few friends who applied to LVO then moved to Bangladesh or other countries but process was done at LVO.

Better you send a Case Specific Enquiry (CSE) to LVO explaining your situation. I believe they will reply you for sure.
