What a Rip-off by VFS? 12,000tk for 3 passports. Are they going send three separate mail to Singapore for three passports? I believe not. I was wondering is there any problem if the applicant send their passports by FedEx or DHL.

Scorpion_ca,

You have to believe and this is the reality ,actually they start the mono poly business with the help of some officials here ,actually i was surprised also when i went there to submit my passports then i collect money from a both and recover the situation . Ya i though about the courier also but in my PPR letter SVO stated clearly that thats totally my responsibility and risk if i submit PP to courier so i dont wanna take any risk and not in position to visit SGVO to singapore to take visa in person , If its not before Eid time i must choose to go to Singapore.

Thanks

Is there any limitation from the Govt. of BD to courier passport? Is there anyone can find out this info after the eid as I don't live in BD. Otherwise, I would find out. If there is no problem from the Govt. of BD, all applicants should use courier such as FedEx or DHL to send their passport. If you lose your passport, that doesn't mean you lose your permanent residency in Canada. I know you guys are worried too much if the passports are lost what would be happened. Don't worry. Did you lose your MR and PPR? No, why would your passport be lost then?

VFS provides Canadian visa services only for 9 countries (BANGLADESH, MONGOLIA, CHINA, NEPAL, INDIA, NIGERIA, INDONESIA, UGANDA

We should protest this type of insanity/ripoff by VFS. If applicant starts to use courier to send their passports, VFS would definitely reduce their fees. Even if you have more than one person in your appl e.g spouse, dependants it will be considered as one application. Hence you will pay tk4000 only.

Someone visited VFS and found the story different....what I guessed originally!!! for three passports, BDT12,000 has to be paid with a service charge of BDT150.

All the best, bro! Just a quick question, have they provided any tentative timeline of your passport return?

Thanks!

I was visiting VFS website to have some idea....

Under Visa Fee section, it is writtern that PERMANENT RESIDENT DETERMINATION $50/BDT4,000.

My question: Is this PERMANENT RESIDENT DETERMINATION related to our cases?

Again in the following paragraph it is stated that ~

VFS Logistic Fee for Permanent Resident Passport Submission : BDT 4000/- Per Applicant

My question: If there are three members including me in my application, how much do VFS charge? Is it BDT 4,000 or BDT 12,000?

Do they ask for any further documentation apart from CHC [I believe NO, though]?

Any idea?

Thanks!

It is now clear that the amount BDT4,000 is for per passport, not per application. So if anyone has spouse and one child, the total charge will be BDT4,000 X 3 = BDT12,000. And additional BDT150 as service charge.

At first congratulations to jahangir, shahriar & nksumon for ppr.
Dear friends, i got MR on 15 July, 2012 which was issued on 5 July. Medical done on 25 July. Now I need a help in following issue. My spouse's passport validity upto 5 July,2013. Should I renew the pp? From post of sumon vai, it is clear that pp would keep one year validity from medical. 20 din r jonno ki jhamelai pore gleam? What should I do now? If I go for renew, will I get it before my ppr? Will VFS help me regarding this issue with suggestions? I m looking forward for ur answer? Anybody knows about VFS contact number?

I am not expert but in my sense you need to renew your spouse's passport.

not until you post 20 replies and become a full member......so i guess you need another 14

I think you can do that after posting 10 replies, that is after becoming 'Member'. Then go to Profile - Account Related Settings.
