Dear Mute_Man,
Thankz for ur quick & short reply.
Actually they (Singapore Office) wrote that my application was pending for review by visa officer and they gave me a chance to update my application. I thought that they would make it faster! but........
ok; if you will be informed new something, let us know timely.
My colleague got visa in Dec'11; but he applied after me. this is very frustrating.

JUST for Information:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/media/releases/2012/2012-04-17.asp

1. Canada stressing on YOUNG applicants; weeding out old population
2. Credential evaluation; but with no assurance of job.....they will still be doing survival jobs :(
3. Priortization amongst Priority NOC: No more queue ( as if they had ever maintained a queue policy)....list of Super Priority NOC will be processed first :(

How to contact london vo via email for general query?

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/how-to-send-case-specific-enquiry-to-london-vo-t93369.0.html

Dear friends,

Today i had my Interview at Singaopore Visa office and i need your advise:

The officer was very nice gentleman , he started the interveiw saying that in case i say something not true i might be banned from applying to canada for 2 years, and he introduced him self he is from the Border agency and not from CIC , his job is to detect fraud .

His main concern for this interview was to verify that my representative wasnt a paid rep as per what i have declared in my application.

Officer was asking many questions, like who is this guy ? how you met him , i explained to him that this guy is a lawyer and i met him at my restaurant back in 2009 and later on he became a regular guest who frequented the place with his wife .
when i planned to apply to Canada i found out many questions and things that are tough for me to understand , in addition CIC has many points not cleared on the website regarding many things for supported documents , so i called him and asked him for assistance , and he agreed to help me filling the application , i have also visited his office twice chose him a representative , i didnt pay him anything as he was doing this a favour for me as i used to welcome him in my restaurant and extend generous discounts for him , being a regular customer there .
In addition, as i was leaviing Dubai and comming to Singapore , and since i have no registered address in Dubai , i wanted an active adress for correspondance with CIC as am still new to Singapore and dont have yetpermenant physical address to communicate with CIC regarding my application.

The Officer was asking me if i was offered job in Canada by this gentleman , or if he asked for money after the visa is issued, i replied abosluetly not , thats truth , i havent paid him a penny .

The officer showed me couple of what i saw visa copies, the lawyer has posted on his site claiming he can get immigration visas to applicants .
i told the officer , i have seen his website once , but i havent noticed these images, moreover when i visited his ofice i noticed he offers copncultancy for immigration to Australia, NZ, UK and study visas to Canada .

the officer was writing all these on a poece of paper , then he asked me what do i do in life, where i work, how old iam , my sons age, Natoinality and some friendly personal chat , where my brother stays in Canada, and where am planning to land in canada ...

Lastly he said so sure you didnt pay him?
i answered absoluetly not sir, i wont lie in my application and risk my future and family future.
he said : hope you said truth as we dont want to call you gaian in here and then it will be bad thing for you .
I said absoluetly sir, he repeated what i have said in my statement( he was reading from the note pad) when he finoshed , i told him i have noticed i have filled my Sons briothday in the application wrong and i need to fix it , he searched in my file and got out the form , he comapred it with my sons passport dates, and said oh yes you are right , he put a small tape on that page and said i will ask the CIC visa officer to look into it.

I told him i have sent last week to Singaore VO , represenative cancellation form as am now settled in singapore and i dont need his assitance anymore , and i have updated my permemanat residency card in Singapore copy, and updated my mailing address and submitted my new passport copy .

he asked me to wait outside in the waiting area

After 10 minutes or less , he came out personally ( before the interview was done with glass bewteen us)
he gave me my passport and some supporting documents i brought, he gave it back to me , he shook hand with me and said thanks for comming.
I asked him when do i expect my Medeical Request?
he said , well thats the job of the Visa section am the border agency section.
again we shook hand and said in case we need any info we will let u know .

So Guys what do u think ?

is it a succesful interview ?
Honestly i havent paid my representative, although it seems he is fooling applicants but in my case i havent paid him and he didnot promise me any thing, maybe because of the friendship i had with him !

Hi Osti,

I was keen to hear from you. Thanks for sharing with us. From my side +1 for you. You're in the right path, I see. Hope the next steps will be smooth for you.

I have applied for Quebec on 20th November 2011. I got my AOR fron Hong Kong on 20th January. Waiting for next update. Any suggestion or experience to share with me regarding CSQ.

Hi deba_avik,

Thanks for quick reply , sure i was bit hesitating when talking to the VO , as i was expecting the interview would be about my job experiences , i did never expect it to be regarding a representative thing .
Am wondering if the VO are doing security back ground checks that they reached my representative fooled couple of applicants back in Dubai ? i mean i dunno how they figured out this thing unless if he is on the black list internationally!

]Do you think i will get a MR soon ? or a rejection of my application ?
2nd Quest: in the represenative withdrawl form which i have sent to Singapore VO last week , my wife signed but used her English signature format which is different than her Native langauge format ( on her passport and on her original application form she signed her native language inititials signature). Do u suggest to make a new representative cancellation form and let her sign the same signature she has on her passport and on her original immigration application form with a letter explaining the matter and mail to singapore VO ?

Thanks

Do you still have a relationship with your representative? This type of issue is formed when the representative makes a dispute or there is any legal issue against the representative firm. What's applicable in your case? If everything is fine and your visa office is convinced by the interview, you can expect MR by Aug/Sept.

Signature is always a signature, it does not have a language. Since there is a variance in the signature to the previous application, your cancellation request might not work. In this case, write a cover letter to the IO explaining the situation and send the corrected one ASAP.

+1 from my side . You did a great job , if was his position i do believe you . Another thing will bring positive for you that you already submitted representative withdrawal form. Do not send another one , this'll certify your statement . Best of like my friend . may allah bless you

Dear deba_avik, canadal0ve

i have no idea whats wrong with the representative, with me he was okay , as he helped me a lot when i applied and he did it for free, from what i have seen by the VO Singapore, this man is selling promises to other applicants to find them jobs in Canada.

most probably some one has reported him to CIC and he is monitored , and they saw his name on my application which raised alarm to them.

Am i responsible for example if the represenative is a bad or good guy? i just stated truth in my application . if he is a bad guy will my application get rejected ?
Regarding signature my wife has two signatures one in Arabic and the other in english she used the arabic one on her application and english on the withdrawal form . ie : osti in Arabic written in Arabic alphabet .

The officer asked me did he promise you a job? i replied to him , well i will be a fool to pay him to get me a job, as am applying under NOC 0631 restaurant Manager and its on high demand in Canada, and personally when i was in Canada in 2009 i used to see a lot of job posting at the enterance of restaurats looking for employees and managers.

The interviewing officer Name was Ahmad , he has roots from pakistan or india most probably or from bengladish , i was quiet happy when i heard his name .( no offense to others names, but i wasnt expecting to meet a familiar name in Singapore VO).

Thanks Brother for your cooling tips.
Am just confused do i send a clarification letter to CHC singapore regarding singature with updated form or wait for them to send it back to me if it was rejected?, as i need also to send them my wife PR card in Singapore and my child one as the submitted ones dates are expired.

Thanks you guys

Don't worry. Its not the cause that can result in rejection. This is duty of the visa office. Hope you are honest and definitely God will reward you. Best of luck!

Decision made without medical is not always a rejection

osti was lucky that he got away from being a victim by one these crooked consultants.

CIC wouldnt conduct this interview had they not received enough evidence against that culprit.
