SBD,

No need to go all members. Only PA can submit the passport.

I have an urgent question to all:

If I travel to some other country for job/study and then I receive medical and PPR, I am aware that I will be able to complete medical from a DMP of that country. But does anyone know if I can mail my passport to Singapore for visa stamping, OR is it mandatory to travel back to Bangladesh to submit passport? Those who got PPR, I will really appreciate if you can tell me the direction they give for passport submission -does it have any option to submit it any other way than hand delivering to Canadian high commission at Dhaka?
You can submitt your PP from anywhere in the world by courier. But you have to inform CIC regarding your staying outside BD and they will advise you.

I am a "nirob dorshok" of this forum! Felt no thrust to write previously! But can't help NOW! Applied in Dec 2010. Got in Process in 19th of May this Year. GOT medical in 9th of July. Everything was very smooth. But my wife was pregnant at the time of medical. I informed it long before. After medical they asked me for the fee of the upcoming baby! Gladly done. My baby was born by 20th of October. I submitted all supporting docs by 1st of November. Passport, Birth certificate etc. But NOW ------- NO RESPONSE -------! what to do !

you have to notify the immigration office of your new location and your status of residency in the foreign country.if you are holding a student or employment visa you should mention that and send a notarized copy of the passport including the relevant visa. They will send your med/ppr at your country of residence.

No madam,
They asked to submit passport to CHC Dhaka in person on any Sunday or Tuesday. In my case, they didnt give option to send via courier or any other means. As they instruct the names of DMPs and other relevant info for different country in different manner, so it will be wise to inform them about your stay outside the country from where you applied for PR.

Thanks and Regards,
Ahsan

LEGALLY they can not ask you to send the passport by courier to any foreign country because it is illegal. So they advice to submit the passports to one of their office and then they send it to relevant place taking full care.

The heading in the mentioned website http://www.unfaircic.com/issues1.html , reads:

CIC NO LONGER PROCESSES FILES IN THE ORDER RECEIVED. NOW THE MORE RECENT FILES ARE PROCESSED FIRST. THUS, A FILE NOT FINALIZED WITHIN 18 MONTHS MAY NEVER BE ASSESSED.

So, it means only MI3 people are to get advantage, rest of the applicants pre-MI, MI1, MI2 are not so important. Is this a legitimate source of information??
Really bad news! -1 Dr.Hasib >:( >:( Just Kidding. Let's see what happens. :-X

well, not sure whether this info is legitimate or not. but according to this site, only Pre-MI and MI-1 applicants are negatively affected. post june 2010 applicants are still in safe side.
