Dear Dava Avik Bhai,

My friend asking is it fake or genuine ,
If embassy really verified means something would happen,
As the receiver of that Phone number don't inform their identity
so he just curious ....

Thanks

Sorry, I don't have such experience. So far, many applicants cases had been verified before and the embassy themselves did that. They tried not to disguise. I am not sure about any third parties.

I could not understand the conclusion of the call. Could you pls share what next?

So far, they try not to spying but talk in a friendly manner by giving their identity. I doubt it to be fraud. What about your friend's current status?

I just found out from an old post about New Delhi VO. Apparently, in some rare cases, the VO makes a call to the employer and claims that it is not the Visa Office but claims to be 'media' or something else and then they ask questions about the applicant and the organization where he/she is working. I guess this is probably what happened in your friend's case. Dhaka CHC called to verify and now doesn't want to come clean and admit that they verified.

In any case, I am sure CIC didn't hire spies/security contractors just to verify applicants' documents. If there was a call placed, it came from Dhaka CHC on instructions from SGVO or its just a prank played by an associate/friend to scare the applicant.

You can read more about here (pay attention to reply # 10)
http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/work-experience-documents-verification-for-immigration-t39488.0.html
You can see that NDVO called and claimed to be 'media' and then asked about the organization and then asked about the applicant (NOC 4131-vocational instructor, college teacher). Why would the 'media' be interested in this applicant's salary, working hours, job duties etc. ???

It seems like Visa Offices have many ways of verifying things. They don't need outside help to do their job... sadly for us, we have to wait while the case officer plays the role of 'James Bond' >:( >:(

Please if you have time then go through the official website of CIC and also take help from the seniors in this forum. You can apply by yourself. The application process is not that difficult. You can still go for some consultant but in the long run you will find all work done by you and the consultant just taking the money without any reason..... :)

Dear mhrana,

I'm very much disappointed to see your message against Mediator International. I'm also one of the client of them and I found they are always helpful minded and informative. They deserve vast knowledge for Canadian immigration. So many peoples of Bangladesh are now in Canada through this firm. For your information Mr. Nurul Amin Chow is the Vice President of Mediator International. He is working as an Immigration consultant and the Immigration Lawyer Mr. Jerry Morgan of Mercan Capital, Canada work for them.

It is better not to send any wrong information for anyone without knowing everything.
I think you have personal clash with them which can be solve by discuss with them.

Hope for the best for you.
