If so u can see new check list where they clearly mentioned what documents to b submitted(This checklist wasnt there to guide us)

Bro,

1. With this letter your file has come out of the queue & is now ready for further processing.
2. They haven't asked u to send all the docs again... just one [new] IMM0008* & rest "updated" ones, if any.
Meaning:
If there's any changes in your exp, edn, POF, family composition, IELTS retake, travel history etc. u r then required to submit the latest now... else, u don't submit anything except the fresh IMM0008.

I think that that "Generic Letter" was sent to almost everybody (2006-2007 Applicants - those that had not been sent a documents update letter) for Administration purposes .(Sifting and Shortlisting those who were still interested, and also to give a chance to those who would want to apply under the new rules to withdraw their cases and get a refund).

whats your status now? RbVO/IP?
They wouldnt ask you for the update had your file got passed the IP stage.

this is the answer! keep the information as it was untill and unless there is some change in your life , like employment, new born baby, settlement fund etc, if they are not change then keep them as it is!

Only Almighty knows what would be our fate ! I think we may see movement of file by March/April '12 or within 17-20 months time frame . We did our job by submitting our application/full docs. and now except waiting we have nothing to do for either positive or negative outcome !

I applied in 3112 category and my application reached the CIO today (30 Dec). The cap updates shows 452 as of 28 December. Can any one tell me what is the chance that my application will fall within the cap.

you got the record that how many 3112's sent files to CIO since June 2011 on each intervals of CIC's notice of the cap got fulfilled? you could then calculate the number of 3112's those sent files to CIO. I guess you have made it to the list. Don't worry ! How come you took so long to send it?

I back after a long since.....hope everything is going OK except the visa officers' speed!!!

First of all, wishing everyone a Happy and glorious 2012!!!

Secondly, this is to share with you that one of my relatives received a mail from SGVO regarding updated form and documentation. I have seen Mr. Qorax answered a similar post.

Please note that the person applied in Feb-2010, sent all the documentation to SGVO on Jul-2010 and from 4131 NOC. The bottom-line is that things started moving on...

Hope 2012 bring good news for everyone...
