Hi friends,

I have a question that I sent my application to CIO without Police Clearance Certificates (PCCs), and so after my app. received by SGVO need I send the PCCs intermediately or do I have to wait them to request? Usually are they requested together with PRF and MR?

Please make me clear to prepare those documents because I am afraid they ask PCCs first and late wait for MR and last wait for PPR?

Thanks so much for your answers!

They will ask for it during the IN PROCESS stage.
I wonder its the CIO that should have returned your application back without the PCC.
you can relax as this seems a good sign that they thought that it would later be asked by your VO.

Jnathan,
you need to go through EG7 booklet carefully, which will stop you from wondering.
it is clearly mentioned that applicants can send application to CIO,NS even without PCC.

No worries. SGVO will ask for it together with MR+RPRF.
:D

ca2012,

sending the PCC to CIO would lessen your job later on but CIO does not recommend it as you could be refused or they could take longer time to transfer your file to your local visa office and your PCC would loose its validity period by then.

this is what the rule says:

"You may begin to gather your police certificates before submitting your application to the CIO. Although you may not submit the police certificate to the CIO, you must be ready to submit them to a visa office if your application is recommended for further assessment at a Canadian visa office. When you submit the application to the visa office please ensure that your certificates were not issued more than three months before you submitted your application to the CIO."

Thanks so much jnathan and Dr.Hasib for the answers!

I am applying in PCCs and can I submit them to SGVO without asking? Because I donot know how long can I obtain PCCs in some countries I lived?

Thanks once again!

Have them ready from now on.
some countries indeed take long time to issue PCC's, I have seen within this forum that people have suffered immensely for not having multiple PCC's when needed.

Dear,

I showed my fund as FDR and send that copy of FDR along with application.
Now question is--- Can I cash this FDR now Or keep it upto the end of process??

Up to the end of process. SGVO want to believe that the fund you showed is yours not borrowed from someone else. So, my advise to keep it same up to Visa Granted on your PP.
