বাংলাদেশে থাকা ব্যাংক অ্যাকাউন্টের অর্থ এখন থেকে অবস্থানরত দেশে নিয়ে যেতে পারবেন প্রবাসীরা।

বাংলাদেশ ব্যাংক রোববার এ সংক্রান্ত একটি সার্কুলার জারি করে সব ব্যাংকের প্রধান নির্বাহীদের জানিয়ে দিয়েছে।

অবৈধ পথে দেশ থেকে অর্থ নেওয়া বন্ধ করতেই প্রবাসীদের এই সুযোগ দেওয়া হয়েছে বলে বাংলাদেশ ব্যাংকের কর্মকর্তারা জানিয়েছেন।

কেন্দ্রীয় ব্যাংকের বৈদেশিক মুদ্রা নীতি বিভাগের ডিজিএম জাকির হোসেন চৌধুরী স্বাক্ষরিত ওই সার্কুলারে বলা হয়েছে, প্রবাসী বাংলাদেশিরা প্রয়োজন হলে কেন্দ্রীয় ব্যাংকের অনুমতি নিয়ে দেশে তাদের টাকা হিসাবের (টাকা অ্যাকাউন্ট) অর্থ বিদেশি মুদ্রায় রূপান্তর করে বিদেশে নিতে পারবেন।

“এজন্য আবেদনের সঙ্গে কিছু বিষয় উল্লেখ করতে হবে। বিশেষ করে ব্যক্তি পর্যায়ের অ্যাকাউন্টধারীর ক্ষেত্রে তার ব্যক্তিগত ও পরিবার যদি দেশে থাকে তাদের ব্যয় উল্লেখ করতে হবে।

“প্রাতিষ্ঠানিক অ্যাকাউন্টধারীকে অনুমোদিত পণ্য বা সেবা কেনার জন্য আবেদন করতে হবে।”

এ বিষয়ে বাংলাদেশ ব্যাংকের সংশ্লিষ্ট বিভাগের এক কর্মকর্তা নাম প্রকাশ না করার শর্তে বিডিনিউজ টোয়েন্টিফোর ডটকমকে বলেন, দেশে প্রবাসীদের খোলা ‘টাকা অ্যাকাউন্ট’- এর অর্থ এতোদিন তারা যে দেশে থাকেন সেদেশে নিতে পারতেন না।

“এখন থেকে ওই অ্যাকাউন্টের টাকা বৈদেশিক মুদ্রায় রূপান্তর করে নেওয়ার সুযোগ পাবেন তারা। তবে এজন্য কেন্দ্রীয় ব্যাংকের অনুমতি নিতে হবে।”

ওই কর্মকর্তা বলেন, প্রবাসীদের অনেকেই দেশে ‘টাকা অ্যাকাউন্ট’ খোলেন। ওই অ্যাকাউন্টে বিদেশ থেকে পাঠানো অর্থ জমা হয়। এছাড়া প্রবাসীদের মালিকানাধীন বাড়ির ভাড়া, জমিসহ অন্যান্য সম্পত্তি বিক্রি বা অন্য উপায়ে অর্জিত অর্থ এ হিসাবে জমা রাখা হয়।

এতোদিন এসব হিসাবে জমা অর্থ বাইরে নেওয়ার সুযোগ না থাকায় অনেকেই হুন্ডিসহ নানা অবৈধ উপায়ে দেশ থেকে অর্থ নিয়ে যেতেন। আর তা বন্ধ করতেই তাদের এ সুযোগ দেওয়া হয়েছে।

1. Can I take 7000 USD cash? or

2. 5000 USD and 2000 in other currency (other means which currency)

3. Now I see people saying 5000 USD in cash. Another 2000 USD in Card (Which card? International debit card?)

You can carry USD 7000 cash but my personal advice to carry CAD more.

Hello,
Sorry for asking some rudimentary questions. We(me, my husband and our two year old son) are planning to start the immigration process in Canada. My queries are following-

1. we have completed our ECA and IELTS. My husband did not get band score 7 in all categories, so he has sat again for the exam. Can we start our express entry profile right away or should we wait till he can manage 7 band score in all segments of IELTS.

2. we talked to an immigration consultant. they told us for assuring provincial nomination we need to apply through a lawyer who is going to charge us a lot of money. How helpful is having a lawyer for securing provincial nomination or we can do it ourselves? as the instructions are clearly written and as I can see from some previous post most of the people here have done it all by themselves

3. My husband is insisting me to be the principal applicant because for age difference I can get 28 point extra. but his job experience is of solid 8 years with all the documents. I, on the other hand had an inconsistent job life of 3 years with no payment slips. can having more years of job experience can increase our chance of selection? in preassesment I found they score all the years after 3years of job experience same.

4. the latest pulling score I saw is 423 at least. our combined preassesment score is 401 when I am principal applicant and 391 when Hubby is principal applicant. If we apply with this scores is there a chance to get provincial nomination and increase our score or do we have to increase our score before hand and then complete the express entry profile?

which has Federal Corporation Number & Business Number.

I need to know what documents or information I need from my employer to get my work permit.
I specially want to know do my employer need to submit an offer of employment by employer portal to give me employment number?

২। আমি আমার প্রথম কোম্পানীতে ৪ বছর চাকুরী করি। এখন অবশ্য অন্য কোম্পানীতে চাকুরীরত আছি। কিন্তু আমার প্রথম কোম্পানীর নাম হঠাৎ করে পরিবর্তন হয়ে গেছে। আমি আমার প্রোফাইলে কোন নামটি ব্যবহার করবো? আমার এক্সপেরিয়েন্স লেটার, রিলিজ লেটার সব যায়গায় আগের নাম দেওয়া আছে।

Urgent IOM related help needed.

Recently I talked to IOM officer Mr. Ibrahim regarding Dhaka to Toronto air fare for 2 adults & 1 infant of 5 months. He said the Turkish air fare would be about 68k for per adult and 51k for the infant. Now that's strange!! 51k for infant??!! Why?? When all the air lines normally charges only 10-15k additional for infants, why IOM charges this much??!! Then what's the benefit of booking air fare through them??! In total it equals to zero benefit..

Now, my query is, is the information correct? Anyone faced this situation before? Anyone have any idea?? Pls share..

If you are looking for a budget friendly deal, you may consider Cathay pacific airlines also. I bought a one way ticket for Tk.64,000.
Their route is Dhk to HKG (4 hrs), then HKG to Toronto (15 hrs). 9 hour transit in Hong kong is the weak point, along with the long 15 hr flight to Toronto. I arrived Toronto last week via their flight & it seemed OK. To keep the price low, try buying ticket around 2 months earlier.

1. Passport with Visa. -off course.
2. COPR
3. PofA. -for cases 'without' AEO & family class. (Cash, B/Draft, TCs, latest Bank Statement, Wire Tfr Record)
4. Passport size photos. -qty 2-3 each, for PR Card. (it may not be needed, but good to carry)
5. PR Card Application (IMM 5444E). -this u can do it there, Or carry it before hand (filled) for ease.
6. Goods to follow List (Form B4E).

It might sounds funny but sometimes bangladeshi people doesn't know the difference between an infant and a toddler. Tell Mr. Ibrahim your babies age. Babies under 2 years of age supposed to be half price so far I know. Ask him about the price. There might be different rules for babies.

Try Emirates through IOM. As you have a baby, my highest recommendation is go for Emirates. In Emirates there is 9 hrs stop over in Dubai where they provide hotel. On the other hand in Turkish there is only 2.5/3 hrs stop over in Istanbul I believe.
