I got IN PROCESS last week. but my status was never RBVO!! I'm not sure where's my application. my story was kind of this:

wow. no rbvo? anyway, i am curious now. On the left hand side of your forum id, it says 'Pre-assessed' : Yes . What is that? Is it about a job offer, or did u hire a migration consultant, or some province sponsored?
I am guessing maybe that had something to do with getting 'In Process' fast. ?! Is that so?

Our status changed to In Process on 4 June, 2011 and our address disappeared and re-appeared again last week. We were hoping something positive to happen but today we received our CAIPS and it says “PAPER FILE SENT TO IPS, FILE BF’D TO : PS ON 16/04/2013. Most shocking is I do not see my points for education, work experience, etc mentioned in it. It says 00 everywhere. Can somebody help to understand what exactly happened? Does it mean that they have not even started the points assessment? Its been 1.5 yrs that I applied but today CAIPS report is very disappointing.

Hi Experts,
My profession is not in 29 demand list of Canada. My spouse have M.SC in social science but don't have any professional experience in that profession.
But we are seriously looking for immigration. What can we do now? One of my very close friend work in an NGO. He suggest us to submit file where my spouse will be primary applicant and he will provide necessary documents from his organization where he will show that my wife working in his organization for the last 5 years as social worker.

Now my question is:
1. Can we apply in that way as "Social Worker"?
2. Will they verify all documents?
3. If they made phone call to the referees -- no issue? But if they physically come to investigate then it will be a problem. Do they come physically to investigate???
4. Till now only 10 out of 500 allowed quota for "Social Worker" filled up. If we are planning to submit the file in Septembor, will we be in that 500 quota?

Please somebody come up and suggest us. Can we apply at this way.

The fact that people like you seriously consider cheating the system so blatantly is sickening enough, but to be openly discussing this on an immigration forum (which CIC probably monitor) is particularly idiotic.

Have you had any thoughts for the honest applicant you will be robbing a visa from if your fraudulent application is successful? Now there is a capping system this is no longer a victimless crime. Last year around 700 social worker FSW1 applications were received and the cap this year is 500. So if you succeed with a fraudulent application you will be robbing someone of a visa in a very real way.

In answer to your question, site visits are possible during the employment verification stage. Is it worth having a criminal record over? If you are caught not only will your application fail, but you will be inadmissable to reapply for several years to come.

So instead of breaking the law and defrauding the Canadian government, have you considered actually trying to secure a job offer and applying legitimately under Federal Skilled Worker Category 2?

oo means that still under processing but you have get total point how much in in CAIPS? if no mention thats mean they give you full point like if they not tell exprience point its mean you get 21 but they give total point in CAIPS report if not give it thats mean may be your file still not start to process.but dont worry very soon all file will be complete.

My First Application sent on April 2010 and 2nd application send on August 2010 with previous passport of my baby, now my file is in process waiting for medical req.

can anybody help me how can I change my kids date of Birth. is it possible to change date of Birth during medical request/all application sending.

Hi. Yes, brought forward date is precaution to ensure that files are reviewed. However, they can be reviewed sooner than this, as documents come in etc.

As a pre-June-2010 applicant you will be on a lower priority to the post-June-2010 applicants, but Minister Kenney says he expects they will approve around 65,000 skilled worker principal applicant visas 2010-2011, and only 10,000 of these will come from post-July-2011 applicants, with maybe 7000 or so post-June-2010 applications still to finalise - so there are still a sizeable number of visas which will go to pre-June-2010 applicants.
