Hi All,
Flying this week to CA.
Which one do you suggest, buying USD or CAD?
Any suggestion on which Money Changer to go to ?

Thats a great news! I would suggest CAD since you are directly landing to Canada. Becayse you may not know what is the exchange rates over there in Canada from USD. So better carry CAD. 

No money exchanger right now in my mind. But who ever you take CAD, make sure you make a receipt from them.

I would suggest to buy USD because CAD buying rate from BD would be higher and also may not be available to buy large amount. However, you can carry few CAD to pay for taxi, porter/trolley etc. You can exchange USD all over CA, even though you can open USD account and deposit the entire USD in your account in CA. Hope everyone is doing well. I am hoping to admit in Masters in Canada before landing in August. But Im planning to do that with full Govt Loan support. Can anyone guide me with the following issues:

1. With Immigrant VISA & COPR, will they count me as domestic student? or will they ask me for PR card & SIN to be counted as a domestic student?

2. Im planning to admit as a full-time masters student. Do the Govt. loans cover full tuition & living expenses?

3. If I get offer letter before landing in Canada, will the University ask for any advance tuition payments before landing?

4. Can I ask them to hold the fee payment date till my loan disbursement?

5. Can I apply for study loan before landing?

6. How long does it usually take to process loan application and get the required fund?

Hello forum members, need your expert opinion. I have applied on Dec 16, 2015 and no MR came yet. Now, we are expecting our new baby by June 2016. Should we notify CIC before medical request now or later?

Where did you send your documents? to CIC canada or MVO?

Did you send bank 150$ draft to CIC or MVO?

How much time they took to process your child's document after her/his birth?

Soo tired of waiting now. i am a person with very little patience and have never faced a challenge such as this.. even cant make my future plan because i dont know if I'll actually get the PR or have to do something else.. any news for December applicants? last i heard they were supposedly gonna clear all files by March'16

Just to make you feel better, we all are in the same waiting list just like you. Here, what you hear are personal experiences or predictions made by us which are not authentic, since we don't work at SGVO and we don't exactly know what SGVO is really doing!!! The latest news in last 2 months, 1 May applicant and 1 June Applicant got MR last week. All are in Review Required status. The speed SGVO is working on, I doubt they can clear JUL-DEC applicants by next June. It may go further, no one knows... I am Aug applicant, waiting for an update

My suggestion is, if you have good opportunities in hand, go for it, keeping a good relation with your current employer. And inform VO about changing the job. Wish you find inner peach... INNEEEER PEACHHHHHHHHHH.

Sharif bhai, MR is delayed for unknown reason. They are not working at all. So dont make them more lazy. Because they will not touch ur file if they come to know about your upcoming baby. So better let them work normally. If u get mr by June accidentally after ur baby born, then notify them by cse and then take preparation for DNA test.

However, what i meant is no need to notify cic now. Otherwise if ur file comes in their hand serially, they will not work on it for ur cse. Atleast let them work & complete first review on ur file.

Just go to nearest Thana and do a G.D against VC that they have cheated you. They told you before applying that they are authorized agent and accordingly you took their help. Later you came to know that they are just fraud and that's why you cancelled the agreement with them and did this GD. Send the GD copy to them by raising CSE.

Arrange to change your mailing address from VC and use your own home/Office address soonest possible.

Infact Non Of Visa Centre Clint filled up any authorization form for VC.
Only thing is mailing address.
