I applied for FSW on 18th December,14. I checked through FedEx that my parcel was received on 24th December, 14 by Immigration Office, Sydney, NS. I was wondering; still I didn't get any notification / mail from Canada Immigration. Does it take long time to process or is there any problem. How I'll be sure that my file is under process / reject. Please help me out that.

I don't find any light here to get your nomination.
I think CIC already has stopped to issue any nomination as per Global SS.

My advise would be without delay a single moment please apply through EE or any PNP.

From 2017 Canada Immigration system will be more complicated and tougher to get through.

Be prepare now if you want to move there.

Completed MR n paid RPRF on 24th April, 2015. Still ecas is only showing medical received. NO DM AND NO IN PROCESS. WONDER WHY !!!!! :-X :-X :'( ??? ???

PNP is totally diff from FSW, PNP case handled by directly province decision.. I think it depend on there, not from any VO's hand other than if there is no any complicacy in your medical report.

My wife did her X-Ray on 27-May-2015 and clinic submitted on 30-May-2015.

Today I saw Third line Updated in my ecas "Medical Results have been received". How long need to wait to for Update form IMM0008, and the rest documents and RPRF to add in my new born baby. Thanks in advance.

For your new baby addition - I think you already followed the procedure about new baby addition in your application as below -


1. Updated Additional Family Information IMM5406” FOR U AND SPOUSE.
2. 150 CAD bank draft
3. With a cover letter mentioning your new born child addition.
4. Child Birth Certificate
5. Passport.
6. Updated Bank cert (+statement )
7. PHOTO-6 COPIES (WITH FIVE COPIES WRITTEN WITH NAME+DOB+Photo taken date )
8. Generic Application form

Finally courier to the local VO address....

If you did the above procedure then your baby already included into your application and you will receive all of your family members PPR in same time.

No, they did not mention anything regarding how to send the document. Thanks for the quick reply. To send the document by international courier what address should I use?
Is it P.O. Box 845, Robinson Road, Singapore 901645 which was mentioned in the email as mailing address?

I have provided employment certificate from my past & present employer. Both of them are having experience of 2.5 yrs each. The job responsibilities are almost same. So, if they count only one letter, they should have taken experience of 2.5 yrs. No way, there is 1 year experience. That is my confusion.

I assume you didn't put any gap in between two jobs information in your personal history in point #8 in "SCHEDULE A - BACKGROUND / DECLARATION".
And also job history in same NOC in "SCHEDULE 3" form point #12 "Main duties" from "Your work Experience".

Yes I heard about it before on this very website by reading an article by Mr. David Cohen. When I read it for the first time, I never thought that such a nightmare would ever manifest in reality. Alas!

These new citizens will be more like immigrants who forever have to keep maintaining the status with the possibility of losing it. The only difference with a PR holder will be the voting right and jobs that require the citizenship status.

Two irritating points about this new citizenship law:
1. Applicants have to physically stay in Canada for 4 years in a 5-year period, after becoming PR holders.
2. Applicants have to sit for IELTS.
