For RPRF , is it Bank Draft or DD ? What will be the currency Canadian Dollar or Singapore Dollar ?

RPRF attachment shows below two paragraph , my question is , is it applicable for Bangladesh.

""Singapore dollar payments must be made in the form of a CASHIER'S ORDER or BANKDRAFT, drawn on a bank in Singapore and made payable to the HIGH COMMISSION OF CANADA. Important: Bank drafts have a limited validity. Ensure that your bank draft is not older than two (2) months when it reaches this office.""

""Canadian dollar payments must be made in the form of a BANKDRAFT, drawn on a bank in Canada and made payable to the RECEIVER GENERAL FOR CANADA. Important: Bank drafts have a limited validity. Ensure that your bank draft is not older than two (2) months when it reaches this office.""

Also where to pay "HIGH COMMISSION OF CANADA" or ""RECEIVER GENERAL FOR CANADA"" ?

Please help.

Guys need help!

I sent my application 2 days back. Today I found that I did a mistake!

I gave the translated and notarized copy of my marriage certificate (usually this is how notaries are done in BD) but didn't give "an affidavit from the person who completed the translation" also didn't mention "I certify that this is a true copy of the original document” in the certified true copies as mentioned the instruction

I am worried because in the instruction doc it is mentioned that any document that is not in English or French must be accompanied by:

the English or French translation; and
an affidavit from the person who completed the translation;
a certified copy of the original document.

Please note that my spouse is the Primary applicant and I showed my bank balance.

Will it cause any harm or should I addendum the certificate now as per the instruction?

Its not a big problem....my lawyer also said me I don't need to any affidebit from translator as our translators are not counted as accreted translator...so only notary ok ....and confirm me its just an option not mandatory..so I also not include that...and he also confirmed me previously he filed without this paper and there have no problem at all....

It will be in CAD in favor of "RECEIVER GENERAL FOR CANADA" .

Just go to SCB gulshan branch with the required documents and tell them that you want to pay RPRF fee. They will guide with the rest of the things.


Try to go early morning since it will require around 2 hours.

NOC : 2132 (Mech. Engineer)
App Received : 11th Aug 14
CC Charged : 18th Nov 14 (approx)
PER Received : 30th Nov 14
VO : CPC-O

BTW, I also got my PER today Mon, Dec 1, 2014 at 7:08 PM.
My application was received by CIC on August 08 & CC charged on Nov 16

start counting ur days, long way to go...

My dd got en cashed on 21 st November . Till today I hvnt got any mail from my consultant . Appl rcvd date 1st august .
Do u think I still hv to wait 4mnths more to get per mail?
