Hi all,

We are planning to move Calgary in mid Sep.If we will get a transit in Toronto what kind of obligation we will face?Do we have to face immigration officer twice (Toronto & Calgary) in that case?

Wherever you land in Canada at first, you need to complete immigration. And then you are a PR. So no more immigration.

Once ecas says' Decision made' how long SVO takes to post the documents? Asking reason is i have sent a prepaid fedex envelope from USA and still no tracking activity

Our ECAS changed to Decision made on the 8th and the passport was released from SVO this morning but we still haven't recieved any letter or information on what the decision is. We sent it through VFS in Dhaka. Hopefully you will hear something soon!!

Our ECAS changed to Decision made on the 8th and the passport was released from SVO this morning but we still haven't recieved any letter or information on what the decision is. We sent it through VFS in Dhaka. Hopefully you will hear something soon!!

How do you get to know the passports has been released? does SVO sends email?

KFH: we have the tracking number from VFS, we can check it online.

You sent it through FedEx right? Do you have a tracking number? You should be able to check it through that.

Your time line shows you submitted your passports on the 14th of March 2013 and according to your this post the released your passport today that is 17th of July 2013. This means they took 4 months to issue visa, right? If it is so please confirm as my passports are missing from the 14th May 2013, almost more than 2 months, your case will sooth my unease to some extent. Take care. Salam............

This means they took 4 months to issue visa, right? Hahaha, not Mia Bhai, I'm the wife of the applicant. Yes it took 4 months and we still don't know if they have issued the Visa because we haven't heard anything from SVO about the approval. Our case is a bit more complicated so it took longer.

Just be patient and make lots of dua during this ramadan month, In shaa allah you will hear something soon!!

Thanks to all of you for your kind words and prayers! Alhumdalilah after waiting 10 years and going through many obstacles with Canadian Immigration.....My husband finally has his passport in hand with VISA.

It took 3 days to come from Singapore through VFS.

Inshallah we will move to Canada soon!

We will keep you in our duas and inshallah you will all here something in the near future!

Thank you, we submitted the passport March 14th, so it took 4 months!
