Does anyone have idea about Travellers Cheque? If yes, please share.

Few days back I found advertisement about this by Dhaka Bank.

has any system in Bangladesh Commercial Bank that I can withdrawn my deposit balance from Canada?

There is one way --> You have to use a Credit Card & a Savings account; & TAG the "Credit Card" to the "Savings account" using internet banking.

Step-1: Open a savings account & keep your money over there.
Step-2: Get internet banking for that savings account.
Step-3: You take a US$ or Dual currency Credit Card through the bank.
Step-4: Request to email you the monthly statements "US$ or Dual currency Credit Card".
Step-5: Get internet banking for that "Dual currency Credit Card" & ask the bank to TAG it with your "savings account", so that you can pay the credit card monthly bill from the savings account.
Step-6: You endorse maximum US$ 5,000 per year on that "US$ or Dual currency Credit Card".
Step-7: You perform transactions in anywhere in the world using the credit card.

Summary: In this way, you are spending money overseas using Credit Card, but paying from the savings account at the end of the month.

Yes. You need some attention though, to pay bills in savings account to clear monthly deposits.
And you loose conversion charges (CAD to USD and then USD to BDT) and the bank charges for every swipe, and the overseas fees.

Stuck in the WES ECA review process for last 3 days.Applied for ECA in WES 9th may but they have not sent documents to my university yet.
Waiting for that ECA documents to send application

does any one has any news about new CAPS result ? any idea about how much application has been accepted by cic in noc 1112 . i have ielts exam on 16 may 13 and will get result on 29 of this month . can any one suggest , is it wise to apply on 29 th of this month ?

CIC will update this page, whenever they feel like & you will receive an exact head-count of how many applications have been received by CIC.

Problem with travelers' Cheque is, it will be done in USD and you loose twice, from BDT to USD and then USD to CAD.
You also require commuting time/ energy to go to bank and deposit to en cash. You can En cash from any post office with a commission though.
The best seems BDT to directly CAD and u start spending directly from Pearsons Airport from day one............................. ;D

Nothing is required. They will provide everything even tea snacks, booklet, publications etc.
All you need is to have some cash to buy lunch and you can explore the western part of the Regency Hotel, there is a restaurant. You can have Biriyani.
Get introduced with the batch mates, it helps.

Let's hope for the best. I think WES is also having huge number of request at the same time bc everybody is rushing to get a seat within 300. What's your profession? You should also get all the other documents ready by this time.
