Today I have received PPR by email. I have sent case specific inquiry last night to SVO and they sent me PPR (attached) by email today afternoon. Now planning to submit passport with family members day after tomorrow to VFS Dhaka. Best of to all who are waiting for medical and PPR.

As Salaam U Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah.

By the grace of Almighty Allah, I received My/Our Passports Stamped with Canadian IM -1 Immigrant Visa dated 06/01/2013 valid till 31/01/2013

By the way, my e-cas is showing "Decision Made". Inside written "A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision." since 01/01/2013.

In VFS Tracking the message showing since 06/01/2013 morning as follows :

"Processed Passport received at DHAKA AC on 06/01/2013. Following documents are required for collection of the Passport:

Original Invoice cum Receipt
Passport copy

Note: Should you wish to get your passport collected by your representative, you are required to handover a authority letter duly signed by you along with a photo Identity proof of your representative (i.e. Driving license, Passport, or PAN card)."

It is mentionable here that, I submitted my Passport through VFS on 11/12/2012.

i find your posts are very useful for would-be immigrants. i have a small query. I had British driving license that has been expired long ago. Now I have an Australian driving license valid until 2019 and also a Bangladeshi one. Do you think my Australian license will help me getting a Canadian one? Pls let me know.

As far as I know Ontario rules are you have to pass G1 Written test and G2 road test even if you have AU or license from other countries. But may be you can drive for a certain period of time. Problem is no one will like to give you car except Rent-A-Car as the Insurance is very important here.

Yesterday I sent an inquiry regarding my case status and got reply today

"Dear Madam

Thank you for your enquiry to the Immigration Section of the High Commission of Canada in Singapore.

We have emailed you on 18 and 31 Decmber 2012 to submit passport for visa issuance. You may want to check if your mail box if too full to receive incoming ones.

We hope this information will be of assistance. "
