Bro..Indian ra date change korte na chaile korbe na..but i don't see any reason to risk your and your wife's life to attend this session during strike...i agree this session is very helpful but not more precious than your life...if needed they have to change the schedule or arrange it on next time..all in all you guys are the participants...they are nothing without your participation...

Correct also wish to add more that by chance if you are taken to mama bari by police and file case against you then you understand what will happen????? Newspaper reported earlier many time many innocent people suffered like Lemon or Kader.

Dear Respected CIIP Participants,
I Contacted with the DHAKA REGENCY HOTEL & RESORT LTD. Assistant Help Manager regarding the Hartal issue. She conveyed me the CIIP India Representative for our session Mr. Paramveer Chakravartty and Ms. Sonia Sharma are to reach at Dhaka at around 6:00 PM. She assured me that she will confirm about the Session on December 4th (Whether it will be or be postponed, if so, when next etc.) by discussing the above CIIP personnel and inform me.
I will be in touch with her and let you fine people know.
I will also try to manage them to mail for confirming about the postponed session, if they decide to do so.
Now, I would like to request Respected CIIP Participants to provide choice, whether It should be on 4th or Postponed. If I get any chance, I will convey your choice to CIIP representatives at Dhaka.

Dear Respected CIIP Participants,
With reference to the above issue, I again talked with the same Regency Hotel manager regarding the postponement of the Session. They denied to postpone and placed some points in front of us as follows:
1. They are on an Official International Schedule for 3 Days at Dhaka. - We can think of our official overseas Schedule Visits to understand their situation.
2. They booked a hall for arrangement of a Session of 35 - 40 person. - Re arrangement of Such Booking and bearing the expenditure is not easy.
3. The Hartal issue is a sudden unforeseen and unfortunate, which they were not at all aware of. - Neither Do We.

Though, it would be inconvenient for us, but I think we should consider their points as well. Furthermore, even if we some people cannot participate in such a session, if they postpone it, they have to report officially to their authority regarding our political situation, which will not be good.

Moreover I propose to consider some points in our favor as follows:

1. It is a Dawn to Dusk Hartal,
2. Government has deployed huge police force for the safeguard of citizen,
3. Picketing will not start by 7 - 8 AM, I suppose,
4. Usually some public transports be available in Hartal days, if not CNG & Taxi cabs are generally manageable by paying some extra money.
5. So, we can start by 6:30/7:00 AM and reach the venue before 7:45 AM and be there inside till DUSK to complete the hartal. After that we can
return home as usual.

One More Thing, I am planning to reach the venue early. So, I offer myself to see the situation of the road and you fine people may aware in advance if you call my Cell No. 01717660833.

I think we should not let the opportunity go from our hand.

U have may be 35 days more! U sent MR, Completed PCC (as Ur post), so why u need more times for sending PP, PNWS!!! What is/are the difficulty/ies for actually???

I applied for PCC on Dec 01 and got delivery slip with due date on Dec 08.

However, the person talking to me said it would be delivered to my address by snail mail only.

But last time I collected it in person from their office. Have you guys experienced the same while collecting PCC in recent time?

Can it be still collected in person ?

Pls go to their office with the slip on 8th Dec & collect in person. But dont forget to call them on 7th Dec to confirm the delivery in person & status. Also ask the sub inspector (Who will verify you) when u can get the PCC from the commissioner office.
