Please find below list of ways to pay for your Police Certificate. Your choice of payment must be sent along with your application:
Bankers Draft in UK sterling – This can be done by Banks Overseas
A document similar to a cheque but drawn on the bank (or building society) itself against a cash deposit.
It is similar to a cheque except the money has already been debited from your account by your bank
You must give notice to the bank that you require a banker's draft (usually 24 hours) so that they can prepare the draft and check that you have enough money in your account. There may also be a small fee to pay for issuing a banker's draft.
You must send this Bankers Draft to us. (It will look like a cheque. Do not send the receipt we require the original cheque).
This may also be known as a Treasurers Cheque or a Cashiers Cheque.
International Transfer
ACRO must point out that this can be a very expensive option as you MUST pay all charges incurred by the transaction - these will include:
Currency Conversion Fee for International Bank Transfer
Electronic Transfer Fee
Clearing Bank Fee
SEPA Payment - (European Banks providing an Electronic Transfer service are subject to this payment. The fee is £1.00 for any transfer totalling up to £99.00 and £7.00 for any over £100.00). This fee must be added to your transfer as it will be deducted by the receiving bank.
Please note that your bank must transfer the fee as you cannot do this yourself on-line. We require certain reference numbers to be allocated to the payment so that we may recognise the fee on reaching our account. With these reference numbers we are then able to match the payment to your application on arrival. You must contact us by E-mail for further information to enable this method at bureau.admin @ acro.pnn.police.uk with the following information
1. Are you intending to transfer the money from a UK Account or International account
2. Full Name of applicant
3. Date of Birth
4. Application Service and return information. Please specify if Subject Access or Police Certificate requesting Standard/Premium and advising the service and return information
5. Amount intending to Transfer in UK Sterling
6. Contact details - Telephone/Mobile no
