I had received request for Medicals/PPR and RPRF on 18/11 and have done medicals on 17/12 and sent PPR/RPRF on 28/12.

Hope to get the passport back with visas soon.

Can anyone tell me if Edmonton or preferably Calgary will be ideal place to stay for the Accounts/Finance people. I also have 4 yr old, so was wondering if there are any settlement services available, so we can prepare for housing, school admission, etc before leaving for Canada.

i think toronto is best place in Canada for accounitng/finance people. if u want to see the oppurtunities in calgary/edmonton then i think u must ask qorax/PMM. they r in a better position to reply to u.

2-Plan & Control financial policies, procedures, and standards.
3-Plan financial needs of the company, manage and allocate funds.
4-Manage operational cash/bank balances, receivables, and payables.
5-Supervise staff payroll, deduction taxes, monthly sales/purchase registers, monthly/annual sales tax and income tax returns.
6-Coordinate with respective departments for timely accounting transactions.
7-Financial performance evaluation of the company based on performance indicators.
8-Supervise internal audit, coordinate with external auditors for external audit.
9Act as liaison between the company and all key stockholders

Please help me for the following.

I got Reference Letter from my present employer (2 years) and have salary slips, job contract, bank statement, appreciation letter etc as proof. Before my present job, I have 11 years experience with previous employer. When I got relieved from previous employer, I got reference letters from 2 senior executives and they have mentioned major duties and responsibilities handled by me in the letter.

My question is, whether I have to submit original reference letters of previous employer or not. I have notarised copy with me whether notarised copy can be submitted along with explanation letter from my side. If I submit original reference letter which I received, then I did not have anything with me for future. I can't approach them for a recent one also. But I am enclosing notarised copies of appointment letter, promotion letter, appreciation letters, salary slips, increment memos, IT Returns, resignation letter, Service Certificate etc as proof of my previous job.

Please advise and guide me.

No problems you can send the copy of originals which you dont have spare but make sure you provide an explanation along with it and its good to provide salary slips and promotion letter to support your file

Just saw your case again. Well its very difficult to reach NS, Canada for it. They might have emailed you, have you checked it or not or if your consultants email is mentioned then is he checking his emails or not. I mean, if its at NS then its difficult to get a reply from them. What I can suggest you is you or your consultant can call them at a number you can search on this forum or CIC website, its a Canadian local number and it might cost you a lot but its worth the try and you can inquire about your case.

Now if there is positive reply in the letter then i have to submit my document with in 120 days aout of which 41 days already elapsed

Now to know that what is in the letter or what the decision they have taken regarding my case can i order CAIPS . Any of you can suggest me that what is caips how much it will cost to me , in how many days i will get my result , what is the procedure will it be beneficial to me.

Boss you need your IA File no issued by Nova scotia Office.
Search your emails, specially under spammail, ordinary post from Canada requires atleast 10-20 days to arrive in India.
If you have file no. you can mail Delhi CHC regarding the IA Decision at Novascotia.
If you hired any consulatnt???

Hi guys,
I have done B.com (regular) and M.com (correspondence) from Delhi University, India. I also have done MBA (Finance) from Sikkim Manipal University. Some one told me that without M.com, u will get 20 because for 22, u should be CA+B.Com.

Now one of the consultant told me that if u show that u have studied 15 hours a week, then u will get 25 any of the university either Delhi University or Sikkim Manipal University.

Please advice
