Hello dear forumites,

I haven't apply for EE yet and hopefully won't if I get through FSWP 2014.
However I would like to know how work experience is calculated under EE. Here is my case:
2004-2007 36 hrs per week NOC 3131
2007-2008(11 month) 20 hrs per week NOC 4012
2008 Aug-up to now 18 hrs per week NOC 4011
2010-up to now 20 hrs per week NOC 4021
So how my work experience calculated? Huh Should I consider only work experience in single occupation or it is sum of all work experience? If yes, is 18 hrs. per week equivalent 1.2 week of 15 hrs per week?
PLEASE HELP

;) Hi Experts,

Is there is any information about the 3rd draw that when CIC will be conducting?

CIC not even posting any news regarding the draw prior to the draw date, cut off score etc.,

Bye Ashish :)

I said '4' starting 2007-Sep to 2011 Apr, what do you think it should have been?

Hi Vinzy,

4 in years of education is fine. As far as i know, you have to enter the only those years for which you have got an ECA done.
So 4 is fine.

Hello all,
I have a question. Has anyone been selected in the first stage under express entry?

Hey All,

Do we need to apply any jobs in job bank or they will pick the candidates on the basis of our work exp ?

kindly throw some light on this

I have read in CANADAVISA NEWS that about 300000 International Students have enrolled at Canadian universities last year . with such a huge number where is the hope to be considered in any draw for foreign applicants without canadian university degree ?
Obviously THE FIRST DRAW confirms the decisive superiority of applicants with canadian university degree . :(

Hello All,

I am applying in EE under FSWP. Would getting an ECA for spouse improve my application scores. Though I have mentioned "Masters degree" in Education but selected 'No' in ECA done question. I have already done ECA for myself (primary applicant) though.

Thanks..

Hi,

I am confused too in selection of NOC.
I have around 3-4 years experience in NOC 0651 ( First 3 years as Center Manager and then after 1 year Area Manager of 3 branches for the same Weight loss Clinic) , I also had Fitness Center Manager experience for 1 and half year and my current designation is Center Manager in a Healthcare Industry(Reputed Healthcare Clinic) for about 10 months and the NOC code 0311.

Please guide me which NOC should I select.

Hi Shrinezhad,

As said above 300000 International Students have enrolled in Canadian Universities last year, It doesn't mean that all should have got admissions and completed their degrees.

Also there may be many students who doesn't got admissions, doesn't completed their degree in time and also they have to complete atleast one year work experience in Canada.

Also for entering into EE system, they should have approved LMIA and should attend IELTS etc., Apart from the above, there might be many other factors like different NOC's etc.,

So be patience, be confident, keep hope and believe in yourselves. Also wait for your turn.

Bye Ashish.

Hi All,

My Name is Abhijit, I need your urgent support.

I have done B.Tech ( electronics and communication ) & MBA ( IIPM ), I need to do ECA from WES.

For B.tech i have already got the documents sealed and stamped FOC but for IIPM they are asking INR 10,000, which is too high for me.

Questions :

Shall I go only for B.Tech ECA done ?
or, Shall I go for B.tech and MBA as well ?
How much point difference will be there as I am unable to find any point difference as B.tech is already a professional degree.

How many point will I get for B.tech / B.Tech & MBA ??

Please help me !!!

Response awaited.

Thanks in Advance.

Regards,

Abhijit

Hi Abhijit,

You will get more points if you use your highest qualification, so definitely your MBA should get you something like 135 points.

For myself, I did ECA only for my MSc and not for both my MSc n BSc. Reason being that my MSc in Information Systems is directly related to my occupation which is Information Systems.

So for you, it will depend on you occupation. If your occupation is directly related to your MBA, then do ECA for your MBA as you'll get more points.

HI,

Thanks for reply.

I am just confused whether B.Tech or MBA will be considered as per below guidelines of CIC :

" University-level credential at the Master’s level OR an entry-to-practice professional degree. CIC only accepts as an entry-to-practice professional degree, those degrees issued in relation to an occupation listed at NOC Skill level A and for which licensing by a provincial regulatory body is required "
