mramosr85 said:CIC does mention CLB 10 on the Comprehensive Ranking System for EE. See here . You get more ranking points if you have "CLB 10 or above". However, you are right in that CIC does not mention the equivalency between CLB 10 and IELTS.

Me and my fiancee are getting married in feb..He has done his bsc IT from Kuvempu University(distance) from NIIT amritsar and mca from SMU(Distance). He has experience along with his bsc IT of 2 yrs and after that of 1 yr and 3 months at NIIT only as Computer Network Technician. Then after that he has experience at Dell as client Support for 1 yr and 6 months and now he is at HCL as Sap Administrator. All the profiles are different. I am just confused about the system, that whether he can apply for all the three posts differently ???. or he can club the experience.,,and one more thing..is there any objection in case of distance education. We have all the transcripts from universities but haven't yet done WES.And the study both graduation and post grad is lateral entry..WIll thr be any problem regarding education????

Different profiles with different NOCs but everything else being the same.... those profiles will have the same EE score, right? What is the advantage of having more than one profile with same score?
Maytoss said:hi,
is there any changes in CLB minimum requirement, if yes
please tell us, what is the minimum IELTS score for EE?
thx'
Maytoss.
The minimun language requirement depends on what specific economic program you wish to apply for. EE is a gateway to these programs.
EE gives you points starting from CLB 4 and above, but each economic stream has its language requirements that you must fulfill to be elegible.
- The FSWP requires CLB 7 as minimum.
- The FSTP requires CLB 5 for Speaking/Listening and CLB 4 for Reading/Writing.
- CEC requires CLB 7 if your canadian experience is in a NOC type 0 or level A job; and CLB 5 if the experience is in a level B job.
Here you have a brief:
* note: find CLB to IELTS conversion table at www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/trades/language-testing.asp
------------------
EE:
Minimun for getting points: CLB 4

FSWP:

To IELTS:

Reading: 6.5

Thanks for the information,
and one more query..
How do you define the category like "0",A & B?
and NOC 1111,1114 & 1212,1112 will fall in which category?
thanks in advance for your information and where should I check such information in order to avoid repeated queries in future.
thanks
