I got a bachelor's degree from the University of Alberta, have 5 months of NOC Level B Canadian work experience (still working). My IELTS scores are Reading 7 SPEAKING 8 WRITING 6 LISTENING 7.5 TOTAL 7. Being Single, no dependents or anything. Got my Alberta Provincial Nomination days ago.
My total ee score is 948
And I have less than a year work experience so I could not apply through CEC
Can I still apply through EE? What are my chances of being invited?
THANKS SO MUCH!
To be invited in Express Entry you must be elegible for one of three economic programs: Skilled Worker, Skilled Trades, CEC.
You would make a strong Skilled Worker candidate but you have one requirement missing: "at least one year of continuous and paid (full-time or an equal amount in part-time) work experience "; which is the same factor that prevents you from being elegible under CEC. Check here: cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-who.asp
As I understand, even with a job offer or province nomination you need this experience wich is a basic requirement. Despite your 948 points in Express Entry ranking, seems you are not elegible -yet- as economic inmigrant. Seven more months working on Canada and are you're ready to go through Skilled Worker Program or CEC.
Your factors:
Language: IELTS band (ok)
Education: Bachelor's degree, Canadian credential, no need for ECA (ok)
Eligible occupation: NOC skill level B (ok)
Job offer: you have one (ok)
Required work experience of 1 year: (missing)
